  • Very. Bad. Day.

    Enough said!

Hope everyne had a good weekend :-)
  • Morning all - just awaiting the arrival of the 3 DGDs for the day - tho the eldest is to take to school, so only (!!!!) 2 to wear me out once DH has taken her! More or less stuck to plan yesterday but I lost count of calories at lunch time. It was the gravy's fault, I couldn't fathom out the cals!

B = Porridge & rasps. Slice of toast (DH's smelled so good I couldn't resist!)
L - Quorn escalope, cauli, carrots, peas & new potatoes, generous helping of gravy made for DH. Mini banana & FF vanilla yogurt.
D - Jacket potato with tuna, prawns & salad.
S - Grapes, nectarine & bag of cheese curls.

So not a particularly bad day, just not a particularly good day! Must try harder! Have a good day all and hope you are having better weather than we are - wind and rain AGAIN!

Morning everyone. I have just weighed in and lost another 2 pounds. My BMI is now 30.31. I so badly want it to be <30. Hopefully in the next 2 weeks or so!. Still, feeling very encouraged and motivated. Every pound lost is progress.
my meal plans for today are
    B - fruit and fibre
L - wholemeal pitta, low fat houmous, salad
    D - chilli rice
S's - fruit, yoghurt and nuts.
Lots of walking today, will also fit in a bit of wi fit.
Hope everyone has a happy and successful day :)

    Morning all
Weighed in this morning, and have to report a shameful 4lb gain, so I need to lose all of my smiley faces on the challenge please Ragz :mad:I knew it wouldn't be good, as been extremely lax for the week before we went away, and not great while we were away either, but I'm still a bit shocked :(

Anyway, back on the bandwagon, and determined to get on with the diet/exercise. No more big events planned between now and Christmas, so I hope I can make some decent inroads into weightloss by then.

    Today's meals:
Breakfast: small bowl of porridge made with half SS milk half water, sprinkling of sultanas and 1tsp brown sugar
Lunch: LF cheese sandwich on seedy bread, satsumas
Dinner: beef and lentil chilli in 2 wraps baked with tomato sauce, broccoli.

Exercise: nothing formal, but need to go around Tesco after work which I always find tiring, plus need to scrub the bathroom tonight as failed to do any housework at the weekend.

    Morning all.

I'll draw a discreet veil over yesterday, if you don't mind: I'm having my usual problems with stress-related loss of appetite and ended up eating whatever came to hand, which involved no veg and only one piece of fruit - bad CCP! :o

I'll try and do better today:

B - none, which was naughty, but I really didn't want anything and I know that forcing myself to eat just makes me feel sick and miserable for the rest of the morning :(
    S - banana
L - chicken mayo sarnie; puff pastry cheese twist; apple :o
D - leeks, HG chard and ham in a small amount of cheese sauce, with pasta and tomatoes

Exercise - 15 minutes or so walk at lunchtime, then a 10 minute dash to my car this evening as I've got to get to an appointment and had to park my car in the car park furthest from my office

    Have a good day, all.
Back after a very long break!

    Very. Bad. Day.

    Enough said!

Hope everyne had a good weekend :-)

I had a very bad whole weekend so you're not alone! Apart from the hormonal eating I had Film night in Saturday with kids which meant Pizza Pizza Pizza and then out for the day yesterday so picnic food, crisps, biscuits and Lamb Meatball Curry for supper!

Monday today, new start... had porridge for breakfast, it never used to fill be up but I am now adding things like chopped nuts and fruit so hopefully it will keep me going until lunch. I am now going to go and do some of the Wii MyFitnessCoach - I have said it now so I have to! Swimming tonight too. Dinner will be enchiladas so not very healthy but I will try to have salad with it and only 2 enchiladas. Lunch will be more onion soup with a small piece of baguette...

hope everyone's doing well (better than me!)

LittleMoog it's not possible to really gain that much (1 or 2lb, but not 4!), you're probably retaining water or something, do you want to weigh again tomorrow to check if it was a blip? I really don't want to have to take all your smilies away, that seems so harsh!
JBD well done on the 2lb loss!

  • Weighing in: I have stayed the same.

    Boo.

Well done all loosers, and non- loosers for not giving up (me incl.).

I have upped the anti on the exercise front, introducing weight training. Just need to control the eating more consistently.

Have a good day everyone :).
Healthy eating aim per day: 3 fruits, 3 or more vegetables, 3 low-fat dairy portions, 3 starch portions, 2-3 lean protein portions.
Weekly aim: to include 2 portions of fish (one oily), some nuts, seeds, beans and pulses.
