    Morning all.

I had a quick sneak on to the scales this morning (official weigh day is tomorrow) and it looks set to be STS again. :( It looks like I must have hit one of the dreaded plateaus - I've been thinking all morning about how to get off it without coming to any definite conclusions. Today will be just ploughing on, I think! ;)

B - small portion muesli with SS milk and stewed plums
    S - small banana
L - pate and watercress sandwich on HM granary bread
    S - apple
D - egg and lentil curry with brown rice

Exercise - I'd hoped to go for a walk at lunchtime to look for a costume for a fancy dress party I'm going to in a couple of weeks, but the torrential rain might put paid to that idea! TA - I hope you manage to dodge the rain today. :)

LittleMoog - hugs to you - I think a takeaway is more than justified in those sort of circumstances.
Back after a very long break!

:grouphug: Group-hug everyone, especially if going through a stressful time.

I am planning my meals on the hoof this week, not ideal but ok. Todays weigh-in loss of 1.5lb, pleased with that. Must move my body more though!

Have a positive day everyone :)
Healthy eating aim per day: 3 fruits, 3 or more vegetables, 3 low-fat dairy portions, 3 starch portions, 2-3 lean protein portions.
Weekly aim: to include 2 portions of fish (one oily), some nuts, seeds, beans and pulses.
  • Hello guys,

Haven't posted for what seems like ages. Hope you are all well and happy :)

Well, i seem to be stuck around the 10st 10lb mark and have been here for the last 3 weeks. Need to exercise more as eating has been fairly consistent. I have found my eating plan to be ok and i have sttled into a rouitne of sorts:

B - skinny latte and porridge
S - banana and apple (or some other sort of fruit)
L - sandwich (whole wheat with some kind of protein) and either reduced fat crisps or 99kcal museli bar
S - some kind of fruit
D - 2 veggie sausages/burger etc, mash of 1 small potato and veggies
    S - 99kcal ice cream (my treat)

This has worked for me but i understand everyone will be different :)

Hoping to get to my target this month - i started at 13st 4lb (size 16-18) and aimed for 10st 7lb which is where i hope to stay (size 12-14).

I may not post every day but you reading about you guys and your journeys helps me every day so big thank you to all :)

Hi all! Glad to see some old faces back again, Eltee12 and financialy-gaga. Well done for the loss StickyNikky:T

LittleMoog, great big hugs, thinking of you. Concentrate on family rather than food just now.

Had an OK day yesterday but still trying to get over this damm chest infection. DH has just asked if I want to go to the gym tomorrow. No way, walking up the stairs is hard enough.

Women's Insitute tonight and lots of lovely cakes for supper, I'll try and stick to just one rather than one of each!!:rotfl:

Thank you for the good wishes. Sympathy to anyone who has the cough, it's miserable, definitely worse at this time of year. I was fine on the cruise, the air in the Med obviously suited - better start saving for another trip!

B - bread roll with marmalade
    L - roll with Vegemite
D - tuna steak, cauli, broad beans, leeks
Snacks - slice tea loaf, grapes, fresh pineapple, banana

Didn't wiegh in this morning, had to be out of the house by 7am but will do so tomorrow. S

Morning all. Glad to hear you are feeling up to posting again sparrer. My thoughts are with you and your family LittleMoog. And a Happy Birthday this weekend to StickyNikki - calories don't count on your birthday! And congrats on the loss too!

Had a good day yesterday with the DGDs. Took the 2 little ones to Ilkley Park again and, despite black clouds looming, managed to avoid the rain all day! Missed a torrential downpour at home apparently! Stuck to my plan and took my lunch with me - DH and the middle DGD had fish and chips from the Riverside kiosk, followed by ice cream and I somehow managed to avoid pinching off them! And I wasn't tempted by the baby's jar of baby food and mashed up banana either!!

Tomorrow is weigh day so I must have another serious damage limitation day today to compensate for the couple of naughty days I have had this week:

B - Poached egg on WW granary toast with the remaining TTD tinned tomatoes and a bit of thin sliced ham.
L - HM Tomato & Basil soup, 5 crackerbreads with remaining thin ham & bowl of salad. WW berry fromage frais.
D - Ravioli with more salad & a few HM wedges. SF jelly with own strawberries (much nicer than shop ones!) & dollop FF yogurt.
    S - Melon, nectarine & satsumas.

Have a good day all. My exercise today involves cleaning (I HATE cleaning) and walking round the supermarket this afternoon! So not a very exciting day ahead for me!

Morning all, from a seriously soggy Portsmouth!

It's my weigh day today and, after everything I said yesterday about being on a plateau, I've lost best part of 2lb this week. :j (Proof, if proof was needed, that the weight on the scales isn't everything - I can't have lost that much since yesterday when the scales showed STS.)

    Today goes:

B - two slices HM granary bread with HM raspberry jam (I love this OS lark sometimes! ;))
    S - apple
L - pate and salad sandwich; pack of savoury roasted seeds
D - HM lasagne (part of a reduced calorie version I made a while ago, as far as I recall - it's been in the freezer so long I've forgotten the details :o) with rocket, tomato and olive salad; stewed plums with LF plain yoghurt; possibly (OK, probably :o) a couple of glasses of wine - it's been a very stressful week!

Exercise - as yesterday, I hope to go out for a walk at lunchtime, but the weather may put paid to that idea. ;)
Back after a very long break!

    Morning all :)
Thanks for all the wishes for my grandma, she's still hanging on, but likely to go in the next few days, as they can't operate to fix the problem as she's too frail :( She's 86 though, and has had a rotten time the last few years, alzheimer's, cancer etc, so I think it's really her time.

managed to go swimming after work, did 34 lengths in 45 minutes, 2 more than last time :)

failed to make the dinner I planned again last night, ended up having spaghetti with HM tomato sauce (already made, from the fridge!) and meatballs from the freezer.

    today's meals:
Breakfast: Shredded wheat fruitful, SS milk, dried apricots
Lunch: carrot and coriander soup, yoghurt, apple
dinner: lamb koftas, again! :rotfl: or failing that something else with the lamb mince as I don't think it will keep another day!
    snacks: satsumas
