Morning everyone. It seems very quiet on here these days, where is everyone? An (almost) good day yesterday - stuck to plan but succumbed to a bag of WW tortillas and a biscuit in the evening. Could have been worse I suppose! Did some gardening and decided to move some pots around - some of them are pretty heavy so maybe yesterday's exercise could pass off as weightlifting?! Today's menu sorted:
B - Poached egg on a Warburtons thin, surrounded by gently stewed tomatoes.
L - Chicken breast (currently marinading) with salad & a bit of LF cheesy pasta. SF jelly, small sliced banana & dollop of FF yogurt.
D - Prawn salad & couple slices of WW granary. Strawberries & blueberries & FF berry fromage frais.
S - Melon, grapes, cherries.
Enjoy this beautiful day everyone. Once a few jobs have been done I think a recliner in the garden with my book is calling! Would be a shame to waste this sunshine!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
morning all
day not too bad yesterday - only had 1 1/4 cupcakes, as shared one with mum, sister and niece at lunchtime, and had one for dessert with dinner. Left all the extras at parents, so I can't be tempted now :A also had 2 beers and a Manhattan yesterday evening, so overall not a great day, but could have been much worse.
Today we're off to see Dylan Moran this evening, and I'm taking DH out for dinner as the tickets were his birthday present, so will try to be extra good all day!
Today's meals:
Breakfast: Fruitful shredded wheat, SS milk
Lunch: Sandwich using a Warburton's thin (thanks TA, saw these in tesco and thought they looked really nice, wouldn't have picked them up if you hadn't mentioned them), 1oz cheese and radishes & rocket from the garden
Snacks: nectarine, satusmas, apple
I'm in the process of defrosting the freezer (finally, it really needed doing before we moved in in September!) and haven't got much in the fridge, but will be going to do a big stock up shop in the week, so will have to start a diet meal plan so I can write a list rather than just buying all the normal stuff.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Two pounds gone at weigh-in this morning! :j
To be honest, I was not expecting this because I fell off the wagon at least three times this week, including half a family-sized bar of chocolate on Friday evening. This last was ate in secret (the other half is still stuffed in the back of my desk drawer), which is how The Old Me used to behave, and left me feeling so disgusted with myself that I can probably at least credit it with getting me back on the straight and narrow again after a very wobbly first week back off of holiday. To be able to lose after a week like this one suggests to me that I must really have been stacking it back before I started this whole thing.
This week, I don't see any real reason why I shouldn't be able to stick to the plot again now. We're out for a meal to celebrate a milestone family birthday on Wednesday, and although I expect to have a bit to drink (known as 'sticking to the plot loosely :rotfl:' ) I've never really been into the public eating thing, and having lost over a stone now since I started this I'm looking forward to glamming it up a bit and so don't see myself making a bingefest out of it. We'll see
The majority of birthdays in this family are during the summer (no prizes for guessing how we've traditionally kept warm in the winter!), with three of them in July, one of which is mine. I think I know better than to set myself up for failure, and so this month's target is to lose just 5lbs, which would take me below the eleven stone mark.
'Well done!' to everyone who's lost, and 'Good luck!' to all with your goals for July. This CAN be done, and between us we're proving it daily :TFreddie Starr Ate My Signature

Good afternoon everyone, and well done to today's losers. :T
Today goes:
Brunch - three slices HM white bread with a scraping of butter and thinly sliced salami; nectarine
S - large glass of apple juice and something to nibble while watching the tennis - probably some of the chilli peanuts I got from Approved Foods earlier this week as they're waving at me from the kitchen cupboard
D - chicken and bacon pasta salad, bulked out with lots of salad veg (peppers, cherry tomatoes, cucumber and radishes, I think), with lettuce
It's pub quiz night tonight, but I'm planning on sticking to lime cordial and soda water with lots of ice as the weather's hot. :A
Exercise - probably not much, except for walking to the pub for the quiz later: I agree with Ida that this weather's too nice to actually do anything!Back after a very long break!0 -
B - 2 cheesy bread rolls with garlic sausage
L - homemade vegetarian chilli, no rice. 1x chocolate muffin
D - homemade meatballs with stirfried vegetables0 -

Hi to newbies and returners.
Not 100% this weekend so eating is a bit strange..
B bowl of soup, slice plain hm bread
L chicken sandwich, 2 slices buttered tea bread
T slice cantaloupe melon, banana
Snacks few grapes
Exercise - stripped one and made up two beds, it would be less effort if I bought myself a sleeping bag!
There's a wedding in 3 months time so hoping to drop a dress size by then. Goal for July 1lb a week0
