Oh dear, lunch was a dieters disaster, sensible choices went out of the window and I'm not even going to start listing any of the three courses I had. Tomorrow is weigh day and it'll serve me right (even if I will be gutted) if I go back over that stone mark :o

Didn't have any tea or supper, guilt and a very full belly made sure of that!

    Exercise - umm....:o

but I did enjoy it, and it is only once a month ;)

Woohooo!!! 10st 2 3/4 this morning, even though I did partake of chips with supper last night, and did not get the swimming in yesterday.

B: Luxury muesli, 2 cups of coffee
    L/D: Steamed vegetables with gravy.

Off for a dog walk now, but may be sitting around drinking coffee for a fair part of the day, so will have to try harder on the exercise front.

  • Morning one and all. Well the retirement do last night went as expected - I was force fed platefuls of food from the buffet (and then made to go back for seconds) - so not a good end to the day as otherwise I had done ok! I seem to be saying this a lot but today is another day and it's back up on the wagon AGAIN!! It doesn't bode well for Saturday's weigh-in! So today's menu:

B - Poached egg on LF muffin, thin ham, gently stewed tomatoes.
L - Plate of salad & tuna. Couple of slices of Nimble. WW lemon mousse.
D - Steamed smoked haddock, more salad, HM potato wedges. SF jelly, mixed berries, meringue nest & WW fromage frais.
Snacks to be fruit - whatever is left in the bowl prior to shopping tomorrow!

Have a good day everybody. Lovely start up here so gardening planned for this morning and maybe a walk over the moors this afternoon.

    morning all,
feeling pretty grim this morning, and cross with myself as I succumbed to a takeaway pizza last night :( really didn't feel up to cooking, and DH couldn't think of anything to make so said he would treat us as I was poorly. He's a b**ger for that sort of thing, I wasn't even really hungry as so bunged up, would have been happy with beans on toast or something similar

so yesterdays meals not good at all generally. determined to do better today.

breakfast: nature valley bar, satsumas, (and lemsip :o)
lunch: HM minestrone soup, satsumas, apple
dinner: HM fishcakes, stir fried selection of first HG veggies plus some peas from the freezer as there isn't much ready to harvest! May make a small amount of cheese sauce using low-fat clover, SS milk and 1oz parmesan + 1oz cheddar to flavour. or may have some sweet chilli sauce instead.

    Morning all.

Back to work for me today, and firmly back on the weightloss wagon after best part of a month in holiday mode. :o

B - last of the raspberry and banana cake (the milk had gone off (the bottle was best part full, too ) and I didn't have any bread so it was cake or nothing :o)
    S - banana
L - large ciabatta roll with cured ham and tomato
    S - apple
    D - veg satay noodles

Exercise - I'm determined to start taking the stairs at work again, cough or no cough! I'm not sure I'll have time for much else today, though. :o

    Have a good day, all.
Back after a very long break!

    L will be chicken salad
T not sure yet, maybe a grapefruit which needs using up and there's a small mackerel in the freezer which would be yummy with a slice of ww wm.

eta T was grapefruit and last of the salad
    Snacks apple, pear

just a quick post to say I've gained 2lbs which was not the plan!
wanted to STS but I've been on holiday and this my last week in my current job so mind has been elsewhere.

next week I will be walking to work, 15 mins each way, and as I'll be learning there should be no time to snack so I'm hopeful that I can shift the weight gained and maybe get down to that elusive 10 stone.

lots of will power to us all :)
  • B - porridge made with water and splash of 1% milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar, some pear and peach pieces im juice (drained)
L - 2x multigrain tortillas with garlic sausage, brie, salad and Victorian chutney
S - sardine fishcakes with chilli sauce
D - small portion mushroom risotto

As its a new month and I'm turning 40 in 8 days I've decided it time for a new me, so I'd like to join you.

I'm a wroking mum to a 7yr old and my husband is a trucker so not home all week, leaving me very little chance to get to the gym (I went regularly befor DS was born)

Although I think I eat fairly healthily, I dont really snack or crave choclate, we do like a takeaway at the weekend and of course the glass or 2 of wine!

My target weight is 10st 7lbs and currently am 11st 4lbs.

    Todays plan
B - Porridge & raisins made with water
    L - Tuna pasta salad
D - Gammon Steak, new potatoes & broccali
