    Hi all, hi Shala_moo.
I started SW a few weeks back (without classes or paying ;)) and the main processed thing I'm eating is low fat yoghurts and ryvita :D But whatever works for you is good. Well done on resisting pudding - I didn't last sunday :o

    Food today:
b: 2 wbx with nana and blueberries
s: yoghurt and a two finger kitkat
l: jacket with tinned salmon, celery, peppers, rocket and a couple of tomatoes - then grapes and the last three strawberries.
    s: nectarine.
d: chicken breasts stuffed with something (quark and something else I can't remember) and lots of veg.

    Have a good day all.

DD is back at work after maternity leave and we have 3 DGD's to look after. Today, when the eldest has gone to school, we will set off with the little ones - a bus ride to Ilkley and a walk along the riverside, some time in the playground and then up into town for a late lunch.
    !

ooh, i love ilkley park! we must be neighbours :D
    its a brilliant playground.

not doing bad today, am stuck in my office feeling a bit full of coffee, went to tesco in my lunch and bought loads of healthy stuff. have managed to plan and take my lunches to work all week which makes a big difference to me. managed 50 lengths last night and aim to do the same again tonight (that will be 3 days on the trot and the last time till at least sunday)

    todays plan:
    2 x wm toast, apple
LO grilled pork loin with big salad and spoon of coleslaw, necterine
probably the last LO pork loin, LO BNS & asparagus.
may have to have a snack at 'tea time' as dinner will be late after swimming.

need to get planning for tomorrow as fridays are where it usually all starts to go wrong, bought some quinoa and have some feta that needs using so i may do something with that and roast veg. the weekend shouldnt be too bad, nothing massive planned. fingers crossed. have to do well this w/e, its my birthday next weekend so i have no chance then :D

    enjoy your day :D
    vix xx

The uni should have a policy on bullying that usually includes specially trained advisers who can help in cases like this. Even if your DD doesn't want to make a formal complaint about the bullies, the adviser will be able to suggest ways of dealing with the problem. (Can you guess what sort of organisation I work for? ;))

I hope you and DD get the problem sorted asap, and that you enjoy your medicinal twix. :)

          3. welcome shala_moo - me and gigi are also very recent to the thread.

Travellingabuela i hope you've had a lovely day with the grandkids.

oh no eltee am sorry to hear about your lunch! I wonder where its travels took it...

i just did the preliminary bit ragz but I don't generally do much evercise other than walking to and from work which is only 15 minute walk and sit at a desk all day at work! In the past I used Food Focus and this is the calculation they use so I knew my allowance was scarily low

sams247 i'm so sorry about your daughter - what a horrible situation for her to be in. is it people on her course who she can't avoid?

congratulations on the weightloss CCP and love to paint!

            Today I've eaten:

B: free tomato soup from vending machine
L: free pasta bake with sweetcorn and 4 new potatoes
            S: free apple
D: will be 2 small roast chicken thighs with lots of salad
S: cadbury's light mousse (they are 8 for £2 at morrisons so need eating up hehe)

Cadbury's lite mousses are currently 50p for a pack of four at Asda. I don't mind them, and the girls love them, so Cadbury are doing very well out me at the moment! I just thought I'd mention this as I've noticed a couple of people on the thread seem to have developed a fondness for them :)

I thought there was something the matter with my keyboard tray this morning, it just seemed really weird and somehow 'off'. I was pulling and tugging at it for the best part of thirty seconds to get it to extend outwards for the extra inch or so I thought it was missing, until I realised that when I pull it out it's just not hitting my belly anymore :D Were it not for the fact that I've not got round to replacing my chair and it's been static rather than wheeled since the day I broke it (and is still being held up by 'Fifty Years Of Coronation Street!), I'd have just been slowly moving it closer every day and wouldn't have noticed. Some of the things we take encouragement from can be quite bizarre!

Welcome to all recent newcomers, and a big 'Well Done!' to all who've announced loss of poundage :j

Well done to Ida for the shrinking belly and to every one else who is shrinking.

I wore a skirt from last summer and it either stretched in the wardrobe or else I've shrunk!

Had some pudding today after dinner - I had blueberries, raspberries, cherries and a low fat yoghurt.

Ragz - Im also sorry for your loss xx I did wonder if you were in the know about diet related stuff. What would you advise for someone like me who cant exercise due to health problems with a very slow metabolism? Ive gone from being underweight to just slightly over weight in 6 months (not helped by medicines that stimulate appetite). Im feeling really uncomfortable now :(:(:(
