There's a change of plan for me for dinner - I decided it would be more OS of me not to go shopping, so I've done a freezer / cupboard raid and will now be having a steak burger (it's a good quality one with hardly any fat in it) with grilled tomatoes, tinned peas and some HM bread. I might put a sprinkling of cheese on top of the burger, but otherwise I reckon that's a pretty healthy meal, and no shopping either! :D

ragz I'm with you on tinned fish, don't like it! A nice fresh pilchard, salmon or tuna steak tastes 100% better than anything out of a tin.

    Breakfast F&F, tea
Lunch - was to be a prawn and pepper omelette but that horrid frylight made it burn. I've given up with it now as it's no good using something if it's not going to work, and am going back to my lovely olive oil, to be used in moderation of course.
Tea - wanted some comfort food as my vacuum cleaner just won't work and it'll cost a fortune to get it repaired so had a toasted cheese sandwich using 2 slices WW Danish bread, some grated half-fat cheese and a scraping of pickle. Result - Bleughhh!!!! The combination doesn't work at all :(.

Out this evening, will look forward to a nice cup-a-soup when I get in.

Well done on your losses mlz, lovetopaint and sparrer! :j

I'm also out for dinner tonight and, although I intend to be sensible about it, like Lazy Liz said yesterday, I consider a meal out as a rare treat and intend to make the most of it. :D So today will go:

B - porridge with stewed blackberries (frozen last autumn and left in the freezer until I rediscovered them last night :o)
    S - fresh raspberries
L - tinned salmon and cucumber sandwich (nom. Thanks, ragz! ;)); portion of radishes
S - small bunch of grapes
D - who knows, but it will be something nice :)

    Have a pleasant day, all.

Well done Lovetopaint and Mlz on your losses!

I de-yucked one tin of salmon and bought a tin of tuna to go in instead of the other salmon, the fishcakes were lovely (I even breadcrumbed them!), oven baked and served with stir-fried spring greens (with garlic, chili, ginger, soy sauce and lemon juice) and asparagus. Super healthy. May slightly make up for the 4 :o Choc Chip Brioche (darn you co-op!) I ate yesterday! 2 today too but I did go for my run, then had tomato soup and one slice of bread for lunch.
Dinner will be meatballs and pasta, will try to have a small portion.:D

Well done all you losers! Encouraging (((hugs))) to everyone else

Felt a bit down last night as a couple of things had gone wrong in my day. When I got back from my meeting with friends I got out my cup-a-soup, but knew there was a Cornish pastie in the freezer. Was...:o:o:o

Needed to be out early so no time for breakfast, so I'm having it for lunch. Bacon, egg, tomato, mushroom, slice of toast, then the last of the rhubarb with 1/2 a vanilla Muller.

Tea will be salad as it needs using up before it runs out of the fridge . Not sure yet what I'll have with it, I have some hb eggs but prob best not to eat too many eggs in one day or as my Granny would say I'll become egg-bound :D. Melon for afters, it's just reached that perfect 'not too hard or soft' stage. Yum.

Snacks fruit, and celery. Have a sudden passion for it atm
