    Morning All

Of course it all went wrong!

    yesterdays dinner lacked the vegetables.

Bit of an upset at home OH & DS had big row while I was at work, ending in DS smashing the %£!**£)(* out of his bedroom door. I'm certainly not paying for a new one - ESPECIALLY as I am the only one in a household of 3 adults who is earning a wage and have to pay for everything else - SO THERE.

Needless to say, I am completely 'faffed' off and no one is speaking to anyone else.

anyway, rant over, sorry about that.

new plan for today cos didn't hardly sleep and have sore throat so couldn't get my act together this morning. Had to go to shops on way to work.

    Today
    B - $ain$bo's own-brand w££tabix, milk, sugar (that was soooo planned)
Sn - cereal type bar - was BOGOF per 9 pack in c%-op, so got 18 bars for £1.69 (only eating one of them!)
    L - cheese roll, apple
D - same as I planned, egg, bacon, black pud, mushrooms, toms

Exercise - acting huffy - it takes it out of you, probably burns loads of calories. So does glaring at one's family......

Big hugs Eltee12, don't let them sabotage your efforts! A trip to the biscuit tin won't help at all... speaking from experience here:o:(
Get out of the house and stomp around the park if you can, you'll feel better and with any luck they'll have made up by the time you get back:D

Thank you for your kind comments Eenymeeny . I did go for a nice long walk at lunchtime, ordered a compressed air plunger thing from the plumbers and bought a spare pair of reading glasses to leave at work. NOt very MSE of me, but I didn't care!

OH and I are sort of speaking again, but I ended up having a go at DS yesterday evening so we aren't on good terms. ho hum.

back to the plan - I don't think there is much of a plan, but here's the story so far

    Today

B - egg on toast, cuppa tea
Sn - cereal bar type thing
    Lu - cheese roll (again)
    Sn - apple
    D - pie, mash, veg & gravy
have had some chocolate toffee covered thingys as well :(

Going out again lunchtime for grumpy-pi$$3d-off-stomp-around.

    must do proper menu plans

Hugs from me too Eltee. Please make your DS repair the door, speaking from experience I had a b/f whose parents always sorted out things he broke and he had no guilty when telling the stories and he was in his 30's at that point. I'm sure if they had made him live with his mess until he paid to sort it out then it would have stopped him being an idiot when he was still a teenager.

Anyway entirely agree being huffy and glaring really does take it out of you so must burn loads of calories and if its helps I smiled when I read yesterdays post about exercise, hope your smiling soon too.

Well last night I had my haggis, neeps & tatties and so must have eaten enough carbs for all my neighbours too! t'was luvvy.

    Today:
B: 2 slices of toast, l/f spread, honey & peanut butter
L: cuppa soup & 4 rye crackers (going a bit soft now so trying to use up)
S: carrot and last of l/f cream cheese
    S: f/f yogurt
D: chicken curry (from sundays roast) may try a thai theme as have loads of coconut milk - not very good for a diet :o

Finally have food in the house as finally did the online shop I've been threatening to do for 2 weeks. BUT now checking my bank as my £42 order has £133 total order value on the delivery note
Very nice lady in customer svs promised to ensure the correct value was charged.

    .

Thank you mlz1413 - DS (who is 22 BTW and should know better) has repaired door as much as poss. luckily they are quite old doors and really sturdy so couldve been worse. Am definately not paying for a new one. I know DS & OH are both stressed (possibly depressed?) about not having work so are getting on each other's nerves all day long. I've recently been asking OH to do little favours each day - take library book back; top-up shopping etc. to pass the time. might try it on DS once we're talking again :rotfl:

What is haggis like? I've always wanted to try it. I like black pudding and white pudding - is it similar?

am feeling a bit better today - it helps being able to 'talk' on here.

scales have nearly returned to my weigh in weight! So may still hit my january 7lb target.

    Today
    B - Banana
L - Salad with 2 x teaspoon of philly herb and cheese (extra Light) dressing
S - Kiwi & Cuppa soup (maybe not at the same time!)
    D - Chicken fajita salad.

i have a great weight loss tip. if you make your dinner really spicy you won't be able to eat most of it!! I managed that last night. was lovely, but far too hot so had to give half the plate to OH!

    Glad your feeling better.

Haggis is like savoury mince but with a tang (spicy), I think it is offal minced with oatmeal & spices so more like faggots than black pudding (which I'm not a huge fan of). It comes in a plastic skin that you can cook it in. I simmered mine for about 45 mins - but don't boil it as the skin splits!

Traditionally served with mashed swede & mashed pots (seperately), no gravy.

Pleased to hear that you are feeling a bit better today. Smiled at your idea of sending OH on little errands. I remember my Mum doing this when Dad retired. He used to say he didn't know how she'd managed before!:rotfl:
