    Morning All

.....am tired, fed up and bored ...... therefore, by 11.30, convinced myself I was sooooooooo hungry and didn't fancy the JP & tuna I had planned for lunch - fetched it all into work and everything.

sigh - ended up going over the SU shop and getting 'meal deal'. boring, tasteless baguette thing, with cheese & ham, crisps (which were nice) and a cola. ate it all, still fed up and bored AND totally not satisfied with tasteless (apart from the crisps) lunch.

    Bu&&ar bu&&ar bu&&ar.

and the stupid radio station plays the same songs over and over and over again.......

I am fed up and grumpy :(

Apart from that it is all going swimmingly !

Hi to all the newbies and good to read so many postives about not giving up.

Eltree poor you, I hate cr*ppy radio stations too :rotfl:
I used to do the I'm soooo hungry I must have.... , I started to write down what I had and realised most of the problem was craving fats and salt.

As the only thing you actually enjoyed was the crisps could you buy some crisps and just have a pack at 11am or with your lunch as a treat to basically keep you on the waggon? (also sounds like a more interesting job would help - but the little things first!)

Today I have been trawling through 2 columns of figures to find a difference and finally gave up rang the accounts software help line only to find out some 40 mins later that the program had a glitch
I have so far been very good and only eaten what I have brought in, although I was so close to buying a bar of chocolate due to pure frustration.

    TODAY:
50g porridge, milk and tiny bit of honey = 210 cals
L: HM carrot & coriander soup + leftovers: spoonful of S&K suet pudding with 2 pieces of veg (also gave most of the suet to the dog this morning)
    S: apple
S: l/f plain yogurt and some fruit pieces
D: stirfry with steak and coconut milk & chilli sauce. (we are using up 'stuff' so this isn't as health as it could be. OH will have noodles I will try and resist)

    hi all,
started off so well with porridge made with skim milk and a little honey, went to tai chi to have thier birhday buffet thing on today.
managed to not eat too much, did have a fair amount of potatoes, two large helpings of pudding though, plus couldnt resist two reduced price packets of crisps, a pizza (normal size?) and a small bar of chocolate.
not as bad as i am normally, but trying to keep positive as well as back on the wagon tomorrow.

I've had a bad day today, had the dentist in the middle of the day so didn't eat anything then had sausage roll and a few chips for tea followed by a small bowl of icecream. OOPS. Hopefully tomorrow will be better as it will be a "normal" day and will be able to have 3 proper meals instead:)

    hi :D

not too bad a day, have had a couple of snacks (but not bad ones)
    today has been:

2 x wm toast, spread & cheese spread. small bunch grapes
roasted veg and cous cous, choc covered rice cake
bag low fat 84 cal crisps
left over, hm, potato, pea, spinach & cauli curry with boiled rice.
the grapes, rice cake and crisps were all un-planned :o but i was hungry today :D
a bit low on protein, wonder if thats why ive been hungry

    the plan for tomorrow is:
    2 x wm toast
the last of the veg curry with boiled rice
spag bol, with extra roasted veg (may make it into lasagne)
    - prior planning prevents poor performance!

I did well yesterday resisted buying a treat when I went to get lunch for someone else and no alcohol last night even though I have a single serving of wine chilling in the fridge.

    TODAY:
B: 45g porridge, milk & tiny bit of honey
    L: Carrot & C soup + 4 rye crackers
    S: banana
    S: frozen fruit
D: omelette with gammon & mushrooms, cabbage & peas

Really need to go shopping now as running out of so much stuff, may brave the shops about 9pm or wimp out and do it online!

  • Hello :)

Can I just tell you all that I have lost 3lbs this week. It's my first week and I'm chuffed. I have cut down on portion sizes (have side plate as opposed to dinner plate) three meals a day (whatever the family are having, good home cooked food) and only had a small snack between lunch and dinner.

Also I'm having a lemon slice in boiling water as it's supposed (so I have read) speed up metabolism.
