Just rushed breakfast today, which is never good, I'm always better for the whole day if I get in a good breakfast. But each day we try

Bfast - cornflakes on the go
Lunch - new pots, chicken slices, drizzle mustard dressing
Tea - fish and veggies in a cheese sauce, no potatoes
Snack - trying to stick to my banana only today......
To those who are given much, much is expected

Hello all! I used to post on here but haven't for a while.

I am getting married in May and my final dress fitting is 26th march so after that i have to stay the same weight! So i have just less than 3 months.

I wanted to lose a minimum of a stone before then but i have upped that to a stone and a half when i discovered i had put on 6lbs since 29th Nov!

I have a wii fit and am playing badminton and swimming with my bestfriend on tuesdays! I will try and walk everywhere i can.

Food wise i am just trying not to snack and drink lots of water. From next week i am vegetarian for a month (part of my 101 challenge) When i used to be vegetarian years ago i lost a fair bit of weight eating quorn products - so i am hoping this will help!!

        Good luck everyone

        Today

        B Weetabix
L Light philly on crackerbread and snackajacks
D Beans on toast i think - i may mix half a can of tuna in and have just one slice of toast - haven't decided yet
s- banana before i go out to skittles to avoid wanting something

drinks - half a litre of water, small OJ and 4 cups of tea!

        hi everyone :D

not a bad day today. thats 2 good days which definately helps motivation.
had a bit of a change of plan, OH was meant to be here tonight but now has to work :( good for my diet though as it means i wont be opening a bottle of wine :D and i had tea with the kids instead of eating later.
        today has been:
2 x wm toast with cheese spread
fuity roast veg, chick peas & cous cous
LO spinach, pot & cauli curry
snacks have been a few squares of green & blacks and a crumpet.

did a load of batch cooking of healthy stuff at the beginning of the week and ae the last of it today, must admit i was getting a bit fed up with the same food.

        tomorrows plan is:
either sugar free muesili or toast
probably a pork fajita (cooked for tonights dinner)
maybe egg on toast before going out
will stick to a few gin & diet tonics when out

        enjoy your weekend

        Evening everybody, another returner!

Less said the better really but I'm now feeling ready to get my self back on track. I'm not setting targets this time and I'm not following any established plan - just trying to follow my own simple rules :o

        1. Three sensible (though I do have to incorporate leftovers - not throwing anything away now!) meals a day and fruit as snacks/puddings.
        2. No junk 'til Easter (apart from 2 slices of birthday cake - on different birthdays!).
        3. Exercise every day - either DVD, walk or swim.
        4. No food except fruit after tea (major problem area!)
        5. Control comfort/boredom eating.

What I really need to do is get some self-discipline around food and only I can do it - I know that now (after 30 years of trying :D!)

So - I'm feeling very positive - tomorrow I will weigh and post weight etc.

Well done to everybody on here for your successes and determination!

        Morning

Just to record that today I weigh 13st10 - biggest for about a year and a half (grrr - mad with myself:mad:) so my campaign starts today. So:

B: Beans on 1 slice of toast
L: HM parsnip and apple soup and 1 bread.
        T: Tuna pie.
Exercise : DVD (still Davinas power of 3 though I won't be doing the whole thing today!!).

I feel better already for taking control.
        Have a good weekend!

ETA - I said I wasn't going to set a target but it seems to me that I need to lose 4 stone (56lbs (I'm 5'4")). I'm going to weigh myself again officially on 20/1 and then on the 1st and 15th of each month (and try not to hop on and off the scales all day in between!)

        Weigh in 1 - 2.6lbs down!!

        Targets for the week ahead.
        1. Atleast 3 portions of fruit/veg a day
        2. 30 mins exercise 3x in the week
        3. No snacking after dinner

Hopefully these are achievable and will help me lost my target of 2lbs this week.

        Well done all losers.

I was good yesterday... until I had pasta for tea - HM sauce though so not too bad.

        yesterday was:

b: 40g cereal with oat milk
        s: a few grapes
l: HM chicken soup and a roll
        s: two satsumas
s: slice of toast with jam - after over an hour on wii fit.
d: HM sausage pasta - hardly any sausage though and a tomatoey sauce.
        s: some wine gums.

        Today has been:
b: 40g cereal with oat milk
        s: two clemantine
l: bacon and eggs - weekend treat :D
        s: two crumpets with jam.
d: chicken breasts covered in a thin layer of pesto with low fat cheese and veg and um roast potatoes but I only use a teeny bit of oil :o

Popped to see my sister and she had bought us loads of chocolate from her hols - must resist!

Have managed not to touch the biscuit tin since last weekend - that's an achievement for me - especially as I have to fill it up for the kids.

I'm going for the theory of I can eat whatever I want... but do I really want to eat it.... then I think of my flabby bits and how they look in some of my clothes.

Oh well, keep it up everyone.
Must try more walking next week.
