  • Hi
    Please can I join in

I need to loose at least 3 stone if not 4.
I need to eat smaller portions but most importantly give up all the stuff I eat in the evenings.

I am going to try and make quite a lot of things for next Christmas and birthdays through the year so hopefully it will keep me occupied in the evenings as this is the time I get really bored and pick.
all sounds very easy. if only .

Can I be included on the 'trying hard' list? I'm fighting with the 'shame to waste it' ideas that I was brought up with and the 'better to put it in the bin than look like one!' motto that I've adopted. The birds in our garden are being very well looked after at the moment... They'll have to exercise their own portion control!

  • Did okay yesterday :)

    B - Fruit
    L- Tuna sandwich and salad
D - Baked fish with plain boiled spuds and veg

    Snacks - apple and banana

Managed to resist the wine and chocs in the evening by spending the time cutting up old birthday/christmas cards up for gift tags :) Hoping for a good weight loss for 1st week to give me incentive to keep going . . . . my biggest downfall is cheese and the there is quite a lot left over from Christmas that is sitting temptingly in the fridge!

Weighed myself this morning and I've lost a pound! Not taking too much notice though as my weight goes up and down by a couple of pounds. I'll start feeling really committed when it's half a stone! Feel better that I'm actually getting into the right mindset for serious stuff and proper weigh in next Monday. Good luck everyone, if we can get through this time of year the rest will be easy.... Oh yeah?:D

Well one of my skirts is a bit more loose so that's a bonus and a per una skirt I was given nearly fits now.

I've got loads of clothes in my wardrobe that don't fit - not sure whether to give them all to charity or to hope that I lose enough weight to get back into them all... tricky one.

Lost 6 lbs total so far but have roughly 2 stone more to go.

Hya all...creeping back here as I haven't been doing very well this year weight-loss-wise.

I haven'y weighed myself in the past week but planning on doing so tomorrow. Last week I was already 17 pounds heavier than this time last year ...so I am not holding out much hope...what with Christmas and my oldest's 21st (lovely chinese meal out)...not to mention the fish & chips last night from the chippy...:o:o:o

2011 is definitely going to be a healthier and happier year for me..the last two have been c**p!!

So I will pop back tomorrow once I have weighed in and devised a plan of attack...eating healthier is surely the way to go...I really have to increase my exercise levels too.

    Have a great day.

Hi all, its been a long time since I last posted on here... sorry!

I wondered if anybody has a low/lower calorie bread recipe. I'm totally done with shop bought loaves, cant find any that taste as good as home made but they do seem quite stodgey ?

    Hello all!

My goal is to lose 2 stone this year, and be more OS so thought i would venture in here.
I intend to calorie count with a daily goal of 1200.

Had roast at the inlaws today, but filled up on the veggies before attacking the potatoes, didn't come close to finishing my plate either which i am pleased about. Will have soup later if i am hungry.
