  • Didn't have to do anything about my dirnking/diet dilemma last night as the night out was cancelled so stuck to my diet :D

Weigh-in tonight, though I'll be happy if I stay the same as I ate out at the chinese buffet over the weekend and was a pig!!

    Today:
    Breakfast - Porridge
Lunch - Soup, Melba Toasts, Yogurt
Dinner - Pancakes & Golden Syrup!! (won't get in from WW till 8pm so just having pudding tonight) :j

I've stayed the same again :j Sounds daft but with Aunt Flo due anytime and the fact I've been muching bread like its going out of fashion I'm happy. :D Hoping next Monday my scales will show a little bit of a loss, even if its only 1lb ;)

It's better than a gain. Well done!
  • So I thought having pancakes for breakfast would be a nice idea seeing as I'm out tonight and didn't want to miss out on OH's delicious pancakes... but I completely over-indulged and am sat here at work feeling like such a pig. And it's only 9.30am :( It's such a horrible feeling - why do I do it to myself?!

I was full of good intentions for the new week and already feel like a failure. I've eaten so much stodge these past few days... bread, french toast, scones, pancakes... it's no wonder I feel huge. I need to stop kidding myself that I can eat these things and lose/maintain weight

    Today's plan...
B: 2 x large wholemeal pancakes with jam, lemon curd + yoghurt
L: Tuna + spinach salad and small pot of easiyo yog
Snack: Nothing - serves me right for eating like a pig recently!
D: Small bowl of leftover chickpea, spinach and potato curry
    Snack: Small pot sugar-free jelly

Exercise: No gym as off out tonight to help a friend bake cupcakes for a party she's catering for (will NOT eat any) but will try fit in a 30min walk on lunchbreak if weather is ok.

Hope everyone is having a better morning than me :o

    Hi all,

Been a busy 2 days so I've not been focusing on bad food too much so hopefully I can keep it up :)

B: 1 bagel with light cream cheese

L: HM chana dal with mini naan

D: Not sure it will either be oven baked haddock with potato wedges and mushy peas or toad in the hole with veg

S: Might have a pancake if OH makes them, if not I won't ;)

Hoping to get out on my bike this weekend, thats if I don't stay in work until midnight again like last week :(

    Have a good week all
  • I've decided to make savoury pancakes for dinner tonight in the hope that is will satisfy my need for pancakes and not be too disasterous calorie-wise.

miss_cupcake - don't worry, at least pancake day only comes once a year!
  • miss_cupcake: better to eat them first thing in the morning than at night and then go to bed feeling full of stodge!! At least you'll work them off during the day :)
  • Thanks ladies - still feeling bloated and blurgh sitting here at my desk but you're right, pancake day IS only once a year and atleast now I have the whole day to get back on track. Bless OH though, he made the pancakes this morning with wholemeal flour thinking he was making them extra-healthy for me... and then proceeded to slather on jam/lemon curd/chocolate spread like it was going out of fashion!

    Morning Losers!

Today will be normal banana yoghurt breakfast. I think I shall dig some stewed apples or plums out for a change once the current batch of bananas is gone.

    Lunch, salad of some description.

Dinner, might do some roast veg, as I have a lot in the fridge.
