I resisted tempation today by bringing in my lunch, fridays there is curry on offer and I sometimes struggle to say No.

B: hot cornish roll (running late)
    S: nothing
L: tin of chicken & veg soup
    S: banana
    D: probably curry (LOL)

Really need to go shopping out of everything: meat, veg, tinned stuff, bread, milk and fruit. Actually at the point where I have nothing to make a meal!

Hope you all have a good weekend, I'm out saturday for a birthday lunch and may have to work a bit of sunday. Roll on the bank holiday!!
  • Week started so well but ended in a complete pig out. Now feeling several inches bigger and ribs hurt. I won't list all my indiscretions as when I read others it always makes me want to eat, so take it as read I should have done so much better. On the plus side I did manage to walk to work 2 and a half days, had a lift home friday as it was pouring with rain. Will keep trying. Diner today was good, but breakfast not so. Have spent the whole day mooching round the house not doing much so tomorrow will be an active day.

Not been doing well at all, weight is stuck and I am being very naughty with puddings etc.

    Today I have eaten:

Br....glass orange juice, 2rashers, 2 poached eggs, 2 slices toast with butter, pot of tea (no milk or sugar)

    S..pear;

D...large bowl hm chicken noodle veg soup, slice bread, apple sponge, ice cream.

    S...banana

Doesn't look too bad on paper, but no exercise means it all goes on my middle!

Well I did lost of batch cooking at the weekend, freezer is full, fridge is full, feeling like a domestic goddess........... but oh my, how tempting are those oat biscuits straight from the oven! Oh dear.

    Bfast Mini Shdredded Wheat
Lunch - Veggie sausage and tomato salad
Tea - Veggie Cowboy Bean Bake with HM tomato bread chunks (no butter)
Sn - yoghurt (and, if I am honest - 2 oat cookies...... sent some in OH packed lunch, rest are in freezer waiting for little ones to visit at weekend)
To those who are given much, much is expected

          1. Still 12 stone - at 5ft not good.
Dinner planning a nightmare with males who don't want to eat what I've chosen so yesterdays meal was changed to sausage and mash with lots of cabbage.
Did lots of walking but still overate when I got home from work. Think that is my danger time. It's raining today so will probably have to go by car to work, it takes 45 mins to walk and I will get too wet. Will have cornflakes in a min followed by fruit and yog. Will insist on having the rice tonight as the beans are from a tin that were opened on Sat. I want to use them up and some other stuff lurking in the fridge.

Hi All, my weekend as prob OK, could have done better but the timing was wrong for me so ended up eating cheese at 10pm on Sunday.

Yesterday I had a half day from work so ate a late breakfast and then had an early lunch, took salad & yogurt to work, then had a curry & wine at night as was having a little celebration on passing my exams taken in June.

Today I think I should be quite good as am organised:
            B: toast & butter
            S: crisps
L: salad with ranch dressing and hard boiled egg
            S: yogurt
D: veg stir fry, will have sauce on it from a packet

Good luck to us all for the week ahead!

            I've been Money Tipped!
Well, I haven't a lot to lose when you look at the figures on paper.

I'm 5' tall and weighed 9st 3lb when I came back from a weeks hol at the weekend, I had put on 4lb over the week, no surprise when we had a 3 course indian meal, 3 course chinese meal, fish and chips etc. :o

However, I know that I have a few pounds to lose as I need to lose some off my boobs and the jelly belly (that sounds gross but it does give you an incentive to lose some when your child starts humming the tune from Harry Hill - the bit where the knitted character has a ride on the jelly on a plate whilst rubbing your stomach! - that's my daughter rubbing my stomach not the knitted character). :rotfl:

Anyway, just wanted to tell people how I have lost 3lb since weighing myself on sunday morning.

I am going away for the weekend and want my clothes to feel looser as an extra 4lb does make your clothes feel a wee bit tighter.

I have virtually eaten the same things on Sun and Mon and will probably eat the same again today (tue) as I will probably lose another lb which will make me my pre hol weight.

Sunday breakfast, 40g Tesco Value porridge (not sure how much milk I use as I just fill it to a certain line on the pattern in the bowl - I don't add sugar or honey as I did with the more expensive porridge as this one has quite a nice taste to it without, a bit like a rice pudding taste) and a cup of tea.

Sunday lunch, two slices of Hovis Seeded bread, one side with sliced tomatoes the other with sandwich piccallili (this way you don't need to use spread as this way it makes the bread moist), inbetween, slices of cucumber, onions and chicken breast.

Sunday dinner, half a packet of CousCous that I received from Approved Foods (had never tried it before and was going to throw all 24 bags away as I wasn't sure about it but it is quite nice with salad and chicken so I will be keeping it now;)), large vine tomato, slice cucumber, chopped onion and chicken breast.

Drank lots of water, had a couple of cups of white coffee, quite a few jelly beans as I needed a sugar fix and that was it.

Same again on monday but with a slice of homemade Tesco microwaved chocolat cake and a Tesco chocolate mousse.

Not the best diet in the world but I will only stick to it for the three days and will eat more healthily from tomorrow.

I quite like to watch The Biggest Loser, and as they always talk in pounds, I decided to convert my weight into pounds, and then convert my supposed ideal weight into pounds. This means I have 140 pounds to lose. At a rate of maybe 1 or 2 a week thats gonna take some time! Ah well, little by little. I took a long long time to get here so I guess it's a the same long journey back.

            Bfast - mini shredded wheat
            Lunch - Veggie wraps, yoghurt
Tea - Veggie burgers, oat rolls, salad
            Snx - two biscuits

Last night I did 20 minutes of exercise. Tonight's looking less likely......

I was very good this morning and made my lunch, but then decided I was running late and ended up buying breakfast rather than having cereal :(

                    Today:
                    B: cornish roll
                    S: none
L: Ham & tomato sandwich with salad cream (also butter as I've run out of l/fat spread), apple, mixed tropical fruits and water
                    S: yogurt & an orange
D: pie, potatos and veg - choice of steak & kidney or chicken & mushroom, will have to be careful with portion size too.
