Weighing the graze box would be a good idea. I am a teacher and have a big energy dip at the end of the teaching day. However once the children have gone home there is still loads to do and then I have to commute home and make dinner. This is a big binging point for me. I tend to eat anything lying around the staffroom (usually cakes and biscuits) and then repeat that when I get in the door at home! How does everyone else manage at this point in the day?

Been poorly, and I wish I could say this reduced my appetite - but what it actually meant was I was trapped at home with goodies in the cupboards. Had LONG talk with OH about not buying me food all the time. It was hard for both of us, I know I will miss the treats, but I also know it's killing me. I also don't know if they will stick to our agreement! It's weird, like a negotiation 'ok, you can buy me chocolate once a month, but only a small piece and not four bars'......

So, back to work, back to trying harder.

    Bfast - weetabix
Lunch - new pots, veggie sausage and mustard dressing, tomatoes
    Tea - Turkey with veg
    Snacks - oat biscuits

Exercise limited as I am getting over being poorly but aim to leave car at home for next couple of days so forcing me to walk to work and back.

Prudent - I used to do this, I would eat a banana at 5pm as I left work which I found kept me full at 5.30 as I got home to change and walk the dog and so stopped me snacking.

Sams247 - you're negotiating which means choc / cakes will be the house at some point. Whilst I realise this is a treat that may keep you going on the diet it needs to be you buying it not your partner.

I realise it must be hard but he has be find something else to 'treat' you to. what about a back massage / bottle of non alcoholic wine / day out at local park with a picnic / hand made cards saying how he loves you / a poem / flowers.

            Today:
            B: cereal & milk
            S: l/fat crisps
L: salad with chickpea & potatoes, apple (from yesterday)
            S: yogurt (from yesterday too!)
            D: left over lasanga

Hi, went a bit off course today. Went to park and had a 99 ice cream. Overate a bit at tea as well, though it was mostly healthy, but had some honey roasted parsnips which had been in the freezer for months. Decided to use some of them but they are loaded with calories.

            B: Mueslie
            S: Apple and apricots
            L: Left over pasta again
            S: Ice cream
D: Chicken, mash/sweet mash potato, brocolli, cauli, parsnips, gravy
S: will prob have some cereal

No, have to disagree! :) If I buy it, it just doubles up the amount bought, and it proves to OH that I want it! Trust me, I have had years of trying to suggest other things, and actually I do get them too, they already do lots of special things, but buying me food is one deeply intrenched thing they do as well. And I have appreciated it for many years (hence my size now) so it's hard for us both to stop this behaviour. And I do get fed up at times with no chocolate so I AM pleased when a bar arrives, it's a viscious circle. Trying to re educate a wine merchant who's been supplying an alcoholic basically.

            Bfast weetabix (getting bored now)
Lunch Brown bap with salad, quorn ham, apricot yoghurt
Tea - going out with DS so could be anything! Will try to be good.

Snax - 4 brazil nuts and one banana

sams247 'No, have to disagree!' - well at least you are aware of the behaviour and hopefully you can work through a way to cope. Good luck with your circle it would be great to finally break it!

I'm not much of one to talk as I've bought a bar of chocie today :o
Its been a tough morning and I think I just gave into the sugar fix.

Hi everyone :) just nipping on to put up my meal plan thought i had better update here too. seems there is a particular reason for my comfort searching last week n feeling bloated ;) Luckily, this part of the cycle means I usually lose my appetite quite a bit :p

                    Yesterday:

B: 1/2 small avocado on toast. coffe + splash oat milk
L: 5 veggie nuggets + handful (I have small hands lol) of chips. salad. (had to go visiting over lunchtime again so was kinda outta my hands a bit...)
D: average portion of veg pancake bake (same portion as my 4 + 1 year olds) + 5 very small potatoes. Nibbled about 3 spoonfulls of filling from the tart I was feeding to baby for pud.

Later I had an 18g bag of crisps and 1 carrot cut into sticks + small glass dry white wine.
Love and compassion to all x

                    Hi all,

Been absent again recently as we had a huge inspection in work so I have been working crazy hours and stress eating but I'm back on the wagon now :)

B: Wholemeal toast and cottage cheese

L: Wholemeal roll with small amount of cheddar and HM chutney

D: HM chicken pie with steamed green beans, carrots, cauli and cabbage

                    S: Maybe a banana

Hoping I can get back on track 100% but I have a chest infection so I feel horrid at the moment and dont really want to eat anything at all but I don't want to fall into the trap of not eating

Thank you MLZ1413, I will keep on trying. (plodding on......) One of the reasons I am seriously hoping my change of eating (never say diet) will work is down to all the support everyone offers to each other on here. Feels like I'm not facing this battle alone. And in all seriousness some days it feels just like a battle - battling not to eat what I want to, and battling with OH to not buy me the food I really want....ah well. One day at a time

I did manage to have an evening at the cinema last night with no popcorn and no Ben n Jerrys ice cream. and I did go for an hours walk, so thats' my 'plus' news!

                    Today bfast - weetabix
Lunch - chicken, new pot salad, peach fat free yoghurt
                    Tea - Fish, veggie bake
Snax - small pot of custard with banana

Exercise. Left car at home again today, so adds up to an hours brisk walk
