Ours are in until Tuesday although they aren't really doing anything.

Yes its hard to believe that primary school went so quickly.
  • Hi Expendaholic
Well we have made our decision, she wants to go to Methody even although two of her best friends were in her class at Grosvenor. When we had talked about it, she said that she wanted so much to go to Methody,we are delighted that at the end of the day she got her first choice and she is so happy about it.
She has her last day this Wed. it's going to be so sad, they had there awards night last night, even that was emotional lol.

That is brilliant Motherearth, it was obviously meant to be. Its very pragmatic of your daughter to take that decision and not take the easy way out as she'd be with her friends.

Methody is a fab school. I have never seen a school with such a wide range of clubs. My son was very impressed with that.

Maybe on Monday a Grosvenor wannabe will get the call of their dreams.

    £925 per year at RBAI

Not sure if there is a compulsory/voluntary breakdown of this, but that's what we're paying.

We were there on Wednesday, and I have to say I was impressed with the school.

Well here it is the last day of primary school. It was really weird. Been to the Grosvenor open night tonight too. Probably buy a uniform at weekend.

Newtownabbey Mum, no idea about bus passes - sorry.
  • Well, that's it. Yesterday was my daughters last day and she came out with a shield and a really lovely report, I actually properly cried (in the car, she would have killed me for disgracing her) that her little childhood is fast coming to an end and she is now a 'pre teen'. Then today was my son's last day at nursery, where have my babies all gone?? Newtownabbey mum, I can't help you about bus passes at all, we didn't apply and will probably just give her the fare evey morning!

Newtownabbey Mum - we have had the rejection bus pass letter from BELB already so I can get on with getting a paid pass from Translink. Have you handed in the application form to the school already - it took about 3 weeks for me to get rejected (I knew I would be as we live closer to Grosvenor)
