OK, I have gone through this thread and these are the lowest scores that I can find and some are what I have heard from friends etc.......may have missed something, head was hurting after reading so many posts.....I have also put comments where there was more info. available. There may be other lower scores but this is just what i could find from this thread

Don't forget these are 'not official' as the info has come from the bloggers on here...

    School
    Methody 101 - However a 102 & 104 didn’t (the 5 score band of 100-104 must be where they apply criteria)
    Grosvenor 92
    Victoria 91
    RBAI 92
    Bangor Grammar 93
    Down High 103
    BRA 94 - However a 91 didn’t get in
Dalriada 114 - Rumour cut off about 103/104
    Belfast High 95
    Carrick Grammar 109 Didn’t take a 99
    Coleraine Inst 84
    Banbridge Academy 100
    Hunterhouse 94
    Ballyclare High 94
Regent House 101 Secondary criteria applied, other 101s didn’t get in.
    Friends 101 - A score of 100 didn't get in
    Wallace 109
    Strathearn 109
Wellington 94 - Cut off confirmed as 93 by Principal
    Glenlola 97

This was in a nice table but couldn't get it to paste - if others have more up to date info. they can add, amend etc......

Thanks JosieJo, for all that hard work. Saw Lisburn dads post, Friends was 101. Know a child who didn't get to Wallace with 100.
Friends have turned away A's most years so looks like the kids results were even better that parents thought.
Those marks in February didn't tell us very much.
Bought our Wallace uniform today - not too pricey. Nice day had by all.
  • Wow, it's very interesting to see the differences between the grammar schools, definitely a bit of a postcode lottery going on I think, or possibly people chose different schools than they would have under the old eleven plus system, thanks JosieJo. We've spent the weekend gathering up bits and pieces for September, am nearing bankruptcy!

Thats an interesting table compiling the cut off's.
Do the schools decide before or after they have all the scores what their particular cut off score is?
My child didnt get into his first choice but we (and him) are happy enough with his second choice.
My beef is the unmentionable religious aspect of our education system.
We have 3 Grammars in our locality but my child can only partake fully in the curriculum of one because of his religious background, is this not an important discussion that should be brought up in amongst this mess?
    The elephant in the room!
