KIDSHORSESDOGS
I know of one child who didn't get 1st choice BRA with a score of 94 but got his 2nd cxhoice Inst. Another child has got 1st choice Ballyclare High with a score of 94 which in the past would have unheard of at Ballyclare High.0 -

Thanks Sniffy, and well done to everyone who had the very tense wait and are happy with their schools today.0 -
:T :T :T Neveranymoney and Motherearth. :T :T Motherearth, I'm surprised your daughter didn't get Methody though (based on other scores on here).
We haven't even bought a tie yet despite all the plans.0 -

Methody banded the scores into bands of 5 marks from where the cut-off fell and then applied criteria. So if the cut-off was, say, 102, all marks from 100 to 104 would be grouped together and priority given to free school meals, then children of Methodist ministers, then prep children, then siblings attending, parents attended etc. That is the only thing that I can think of that has happened.
Congratulations to everyone - there seems to be very few disappointments!0 -
