Just had a v quick scan - Kingston and Exspend, bloody thrilled for ya's (I was at Flash Harry last night, best way to take your mind off things I found!) Kingston, I had a nosy at other parents in the school outfitters, but none had just a boy with them, or were wearing wellies, so I didn't disgrace meself, although I did take a photo of my daughter in her uniform, it brought a tear to the eye!!!

CONGRATULATIONS neveranymoney :j:T so glad she got in. Where did you go for the uniform? What house is she in? My son is in Boyd. Did you get any of the uniform home? Isn't is wonderful?

    KIDSHORSESDOGS

I know of one child who didn't get 1st choice BRA with a score of 94 but got his 2nd cxhoice Inst. Another child has got 1st choice Ballyclare High with a score of 94 which in the past would have unheard of at Ballyclare High.

Thanks Sniffy, and well done to everyone who had the very tense wait and are happy with their schools today.

:T :T :T Neveranymoney and Motherearth. :T :T Motherearth, I'm surprised your daughter didn't get Methody though (based on other scores on here).

We haven't even bought a tie yet despite all the plans.

We haven't even bought a tie yet despite all the plans.

Methody banded the scores into bands of 5 marks from where the cut-off fell and then applied criteria. So if the cut-off was, say, 102, all marks from 100 to 104 would be grouped together and priority given to free school meals, then children of Methodist ministers, then prep children, then siblings attending, parents attended etc. That is the only thing that I can think of that has happened.

Congratulations to everyone - there seems to be very few disappointments!
