Congratulations pushy mum! Our children could be in the same class! Mt friend is still desperately waiting and hoping her sons score of 105 will get him in....I heard a child with 103 got Regent so hopefully they,ll be ok.Do you mind me asking what your score was...I,m sure you posted it before but I,m afraid I have baby brain at the min hence all the spelling mistakes an bad grammar!(5 month old baby!)0

Nearly all of Whitehead primary's classes have put carrickfergus grammar down as first this year which isn't the case normally.Glad you are happy with the outcome though. We had BRA down as second and Carrick gram down as third. SOn got into Belfast High but I would have been just as happy with BRA.0 -

I think a lot of us were impressed with the Carrick head plus I know a lot of the teachers there. Our child is very sporty so BRA may be better all round. why do you think Carrick GS was so popular this year?0 -

From what I've been told its purely down to it being close by and parents and kids not wanting to travel further than they have to. Mr Mulvenna is lovely but I thought Mr Dickson (BRA head) was wonderful and there are reviews on him written by parents and pupils on internet that are excellent, every one of them. If you google it you can read them. I think BRA is an excellent choice!!0 -

One of our sons friends from the same primary who scored 108 has got into BHS. It was our 3rd choice. interesting looking at the scores being posted above that CGS seems to have been tougher to get into than BHS...thats a real turnaround for the EAst Antrim area!0 -
Tears of joy are tripping me.......she got into Methody.
Postman said he has 2 hours left to go and a bag full of results still to deliver...off to phone the grandparents...:j:rotfl:0 -
My daughter got accepted to Hunter House with 97, friends daughter got into Friends with 105! :rotfl:
This has been one of the most stressful experiences of our lives! The hard work has all paid off!
We were encouraged to put down Friends and Wallace to be declined in order to get bus pass, we didnt because she did not like Wallace, thank goodness as I have heard someone else with 97 that got in!
