I honestly am really surprised by this!!! By looking at last three years intake, carrick grammar should have been one of the easier ones to get into. Must have had a lot applying this year for some reason. Is your son at Whitehead primary?

No he is at one of the Carrick feeder primaries. we honestly thought he was in with no hassle at all. the head actually told us to be "quietly confident"! i think this year the standard was very high. amazing tho how its all worked out for the best.
