My child is first up in the house everyday. He doesn't do sleep. Therefore he'll probably be getting me up. :rotfl:

I see Methody are well up on that top 500 list. Maybe I should have put them first instead of second. It was a location decision really that put Grosvenor ahead of Methody. Methody is one of NI's best (if not the best) in my opinion.

My son's primary school has the papers but I haven't seen them. I was told by a classroom assistant who said that the school had been on the right track in preparing the children this year. From what I gather they will be using them as mock papers. So if you know anybody doing the test this year the chances are they will be using the papers in the primary schools.

Hi, My daughter told me that she had seen the papers in her primary school. i really annoyed that we parents havent seen these papers. i will be ringing AQE this afternoon!! thanks for letting us know

We paid AQE not the primary school. I would be most annoyed if our school have the papers as they did so very little to help the kids.

I would be really cross if our primary school had tests. They did nothing for us at all!! I paid for my child to sit the test and have nothing!! Disgraceful!!!

I am now in my friends house and have taken over her pc just to check here for any other morsels of info. I'm beginning to wonder is our collective madness actually more of a hindrance than help to us all. I have now swung round to being profoundly grateful if we get ANY of our first 3 choices and will weep, tears of joy. I for one wouldn't mind if our primary school had the exam papers, they were great from beginning to end. Is today nearly over yet?? I'm counting down the hours until i can get the kiddies to bed and am currently undecided as to wether i will catch up on my sky plussed Losts or sign on here for another update/rant, or quite possibly I shall throw caution to the wind and do both. What will we do with ourselves when this palaver is all over??
Total debt £20,000 Northern Rock loan:eek:
    Debt free date April 2016!!!!

I have been lurking since 6/2/10. Not confident enough in my IT skills to register & post, but have had to take the plunge to let you know that I have just checked AQE website and there are sample papers on it, presumably the actual tests???
Have just about retained my sanity throughout this nightmare by following this thread. Thank you all.
By the way. Son 103, Down High, Inst, Wellington & Methody.

The stress must have got to me last night....lol I haven't reached for the vodka bottle yet........If I did I might just get banned from this sight....Ah the wonders of Copy and paste. (Not crazy enough yet for typing it all out.)

Sorry also for spooking you out.

The story helps me accept that whatever happens, it could probably be the best for my daughter rather than what I think is best. Though that won't stop me going down every avenue to have her placed where I feel she will thrive and succeed in life.

    2 DAYS TO GO....................

Don't be daft!! It was a nice spook, ;)

Just keep posting, I always love a story!!

Wow!!!!! I think you could be right. I have checked AQE site soooooo many times I wasn't going to bother but now they have a heading 'Assessment Papers' and it looks like our papers from last year!!!!:j
Going to print them off and ask my daughter. Thanks so much for posting.

I dont think the ones on the website are the actual papers that the children sat. Are they?

Hi everyone, have been a lurker now for a very long time. Suppose I have been called a lot worse so I wont take offence lol. :rotfl:Im glad Im not the only person going a bit gaga!! Son got 106 and my first choice is Regent, then Grosvenor, Downe High. I lurch from really upbeat and positive to suicidal maybe I should drink more, if thats possible.
Must give you a laugh, I opened the door to my postman today at bout 9.10am (actually think i scared the livin daylights out of him) He stopped mid whistle as I purred "wot time will you be here on Saturday?" I think he thought I was about to make him an indecent propsal. I explained innocently that I was waiting to hear what school my son had got into. He looked mightily relieved I can tell you, anyway I then had to endure about half an hour of him telling me all about his grandaughter who came to him every Tuesday to practise her tests. He explained to me all about the education system in his day, how awful things are now, kids have it so easy nowadays, blah, blah, blah....... I swear by the time he was finished my eyes had glazed over. I hope he doesnt stop to talk to anyone on Saturday morning or it might be Sunday before I get my sons letter.
Well the moral of the story is, dont ask your postman any questions if hes over 60ish unless you have an hour or so to spare lol.

Ramble over, good luck to you all and will post on Saturday, if I survive until then:p
