the service was 120 mot was 40 all together with repairs it was 370, the offer off insurance is 1005

The amount you paid on servicing / repairs and mot have virtually no effect on the value of the car as owning a car means you have to service and maintain your car. So values for cars assume you have serviced and maintained your car

£`1050 is more than enough to get a replacement similar age and condition car.

There wasn't any rust on it. Remember the OP paid to have it fixed and then they wrote it off.:rotfl:

If it makes you feel any better, one of my clients had their Convertable Ferrari written off by a garage doing a "Test Drive" after they serviced it and aqua planed doing two 360s
