Hi gang, mega quickie tonight as we have visitors:eek::j hence not comming on eariler.(cue frantic baking thank goodness I have started my new regieme)
Anyway, am being frightfully rude but had to come back to send love and prayers to Taplady and all your family on the loss of your Aunt.
Have a great night.

Their primary school was offering a sub-standard education and I knew I could do better
I didn't want DDs to go to the local high school either as it's a haven for gang recruitment. The children are rude and foul-mouthed [although probably wonderful at home] and they could only achieve less than a third of the national standard in exams last time I checked.
It hardly filled me with confidence.
Now that they are out of school, I wouldn't put them back, as it's been the best thing for all of us
Bet you it would be your kids that are the badly behaved ones, not the other little treasures ( I want to roll my eyes) We have a few of those round here.
I think you are doing a wonderful thing for your kids and you must have the patience of a saint:rotfl:
Is it hard to do, do you need to have offsted round and things. Do your kids have to have end of year tests like sats?

Hubby & I made it to the carvery tonight before............................
He's now having a snooze & I'm having a cuppa, I'll wake him up soon otherwise he'll be awake in the middle of the night.
The paper finally arrived at 2:30 & no mention has been made of the umbrella incident.
Glad you are enjoying my blog Molly, hope you are feeling better today.
Have a good evening everyone.
Hugs Hester
I missed the umbrella incident.... wonder if it's on your blog......."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Pipkin and Sandy Im in the same situation. I wobble -and fall over on a regular basis as in yesterday! I totally understand the confidence thing.
I have had a call from Lakeland and they are taking what happened very seriously. They have excellent customer service so I feel happy that they are trying to resolve the situation x
My confidence just keeps plummeting ,just the thought of going out on my own at the moment makes me start shaking.:(
I'm glad lakeland are being so helpful, you were treated terribly.Yep - me too. Last time I had Molly Dog to stay, I fell over in the hallway, and she just stood there looking at me as if I'd gone daft! And we're just not going to mention the amount of times I've found myself hitting the deck trying to do my WiiFit+ exercises. I'm actually a founder member of the BOA Club (as in Base Over Apex):rotfl:
We are a wobbly lot aren't we:rotfl:
LW you are lucky thats all Molly Dog does. My meds affect my balance so I just fall over:o My mutt thinks it's a game and starts jumping all over me trying to lick my face:D He is a nutter.
Strange thing is if I fall because of a seizure he just sits by me doing nothing.Sealed Pot Challenge Member NO. 853 :j0 -

It was yesterday or Wednesday, some litlle s0d stabbed her with an umbrella - on purpose! It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0 -

No end of year tests and no annual visit [unless I wanted one, then I could have an LEA inspector come round]
I do have to fill in an annual report and if they wasn't happy with that then they could make further enquiries, but they were happy with last years, so see what they say when I send this year's in
I would miss DDs if they went to school as I love spending time in their company. They are my favourite two people in the whole worldThere is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. You never quite know where they'll take you - Beatrix Potter0 -

Wondered what happened to you yesterday. You were sorely missed.
I increased my medication again yesterday, so wasn't in the right frame of mind for much posting last night

Well thanks again for my Birthday wishes
I've had a brilliant day, seen lots of my family, been spoilt rotten and thoroughly indulged. Haven't had a sniff of OS
Haribo I'll have you know that because we ran DS3 home after my birthday meal, I am now only two sheets to the wind, but there's still time and plenty of wine to do it with:rotfl: Hope things are OK with you :kisses3:

Thats because the dog can sense the build-up of electrical activity and just knows its not a game. I once worked with a family who had a child with really bad night-time seizures and the dog slept on child's bed. Every time she was about to have one she let her parents know and they were able to watch her. Your dog might begin to let you know...I have heard its very common and some dogs have be specially trained xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0
