Evening all
Great news Anguk, hugs to Sandy, PP, Pipkin.
HJ, hope you're ok.
Lovely day at work, got stabbed in the leg with an umbrella, by a pupil, it was intentional, not an accident, what joy.
Have a good evening
Hugs Hester

Ouch Hester! Now that the minder has a job, would you not think about getting out of that hell-hole yourself this year? Hope he got his butt kicked.
Floss, congrats on the engagement, I forgot to say before. I don't have a pattern for you, I'm afraid, but that's a lovely idea.
I'm meant to be on here looking for ways to cut the price of the Sky, or find out if it's worth renewing my contract so that I don't need to worry about repairs, but can't help having a peep over the garden fence!

You do have a lot to put up with, Hester. All is not right for me at the 'school' where I work either. I have been taken out of the class I have been in 6hr/week since Sept. Don't know what the plan was, but my colleague has fallen over, so I covered an hour for her this afternoon. I normally do 2 1/2, so that's 1 1/2 hours pay down. Tomorrow the student isn't in, so I'm losing another 2. I only do 6 per week!
At least I have had the sewing this week. I finished that this afternooon, will post in the morning. Cheque for the last lot arrived in the post this morning. Got dd's jeans to shorten and then the machine can go back in the other room. Now I need to get back onto general household tasks. The weeks that I sew, food gets on the table, but not a lot else happens.
DH due home this evening, so ought to tidy a bit. He has painting to do this weekend so will be grumpy.
Hope everyone is OK.

Evening everyone
I really don't know where the day has gone. Still feel pretty tired, roll on the spring when this miserable damp weather may disappear hopefully.
Had a really busy day at work and just feel like I need to crawl into bed. I will when DS2 goes.
Have read through the thread but can't remember much so (((Hugs))) to anyone that needs or wants one. DS2 is going to his dads for the weekend so I will be travelling to London to see my OH tomorrow. We are going to look at 2 areas that we are interested in moving to, after we are married. Unfortunately neither of us knows the areas very well, so after my internet investigation into schools we have narrowed it down to 2 as he still needs access into london every day. So if anyone knows either Loughton or Heybridge let me know.
Not much os today, wm has been emptied and put on the airer. DS2 was at a friends for tea after school so I just had leftover beef casserole again. Need to wash the pots soon. Also need to pack weekend bag too.
Enjoy the rest of your evening.

....as someone who usually participated in the more political threads on this board, this particular thread has been a breath of fresh air.
Nice, decent, honest people just talking about.... stuff. Stuff that's important to them. Stuff that's interesting to others.
This thread is nice and I look forward to my next (but I don't get online every day, so it might be a few days away and I might not keep up with what's going on).
But either way, thanks. And a special thanks to (the unusually quiet) Pip for the invite.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
