Morning all
I'm fed up of this damp weather we are having at moment. I don't mind snow/cold/windy just not damp. I've had to drive to work everyay this week, which is silly as it's only a 20min walk away but I'd get soaked and hate being wet!!
WM is on and will hopefully finish before I need to leave for work so it can go on airer. Nothing much OS today. No fresh salad in so no packed lunch today. I'm out tonight so won't be making dinner either.
I'm off to watch the rugby tonight. Kick off isn't until 7.30 so it's going to be horribly cold and damp
but should be fun.
Have a good day all

Morning all

Busy morning already here - wm, bm and easiyo sorted
My throat is starting to get much better. It's still there, but at least I don't squeak when I talk
aplaceinthesun yes, I do home ed. It's been great for the girls
They have japanese lessons this morning, so trying to get them ready. For some reason there has been quite a few reminders this morning.
We have a chinese day booked next week, so I need to sort activities for that and think about what food we will take.
Hope everyone is ok.
Will catch up later
Hugs to those in need. There is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. You never quite know where they'll take you - Beatrix Potter0 -
Good Mprning Everyone! Grey and damp here - lovely, I don't think!
Anguk - hope the improvement is continuing.
Hester, nothing surprises me about school life - hope you get your lazy afternoon, but I expect the paper will now turn up - someone clearly had the order tucked into an intray!
Diva - love the smilie!
Leggings? I wish! Sadly, definitely no longer have the legs to go in'em (not too sure I did last time I wore them actually!
Well, woke up feeling decidedly wobbly today - fairly natural as my food intake since Monday has been virtually nil. Bonus is I seem to be half a stone lighter - but, yes, that'll all go back as soon as normal service resumes. Don't really fancy food yet tho' but did have a small handful of cornflakes.
DS and family coming for w/e to see us before we go away so need to get loads done.(I can't still be infectious, can I??)
I think a "10 minute day" is best to aim for - 10 minutes work, 10 minutes rest. I have a very long list of things I'd like done by bedtime, including washing and ironing, general cleaning, vacuuming, paperwork and course preparation in case I feel fit enough to drive to Chelmsford tomorrow. Wouldn't fancy it at all today, but 24 hours can make a huge difference.
Wish I could reply individually (hats off to those who can!) but I do send you all my best wishes for a good day. Take care.Resolution:

Morning All!!
Big (((hugs))) to taplady and Anguk [good to hear your OH is making progress]and all others who need them this morning. You and yours are in my thoughts.
We had more snowfall here yesterday and there's still some on the ground now. Hopefully it doesn't freeze again
Not a vast amount going on in terms of OS: have been pooped every night after work this week and have let the housework lapse a little, so need to get back on that tonight. I did leave the WM on this morning and a load of washing on the airer to dry so at least that's a start.
Bin day tomorrow so the weekly run-round-the-house-with-a-bin-bag is tonight.
Soup for lunch and lasagne for tea tonight, and OH is off out so I'll have peace and quiet to get on with things once DD and DS are in bed

Hi Guys,
I hope everyone has a good morning. Well mine has got off to a dreadful start. I had a return to Lakeland and the woman arrived at 7.45 to collect it. I had not get it ready so was totally unprepared. She was very aggressive in her tone and in my face and so rude - accused me of stealing it and that she had driven miles to get it. I asked if she could return tomorrow - flat NO. Said I had booked collection - NO I said! I then shut the door as my dogs growling at her as she being very aggressive to me. My DD helped me to get stuff together and gave some of it to her. My DD asked her not to be so rude as she was talking about me on her mobile in a very rude tone. She then got very arsey with my DD and I asked her to stop. As I was talking I was concentrating on woman and not on my balance and totally lost it and fell backwards and landed on the floor. I winded myself and have hurt my back. Upset all my children and they phoned their dad. I just phoned Lakeland as am mortified that they might think I stole the items. Of course they did not think that but it has really upset me and im really wobbly.
Oh dear...I think all OS will have to wait today. Hope Anguk - your husband is still stable. It sounds like he is improving xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

Good morning all! I was invited to pop past by the luvverly Pipkin so thought I'd say hello.
The theme seems to be discussing the day ahead so, here goes :
Just landed back into London after a few days in the US working but it turns out I have to go back again tomorrow so just checked into a hotel, gonna get some sleep then have a spot of dinner tonigt and a few beers before taking a flight out first thing tomorrow morning.
Starting to realise I need to consider getting my mortgage deal 'renewed' - cannot bury head in the sand about it much longer. A bit worried that my shocking credit history will get in the way.
Considering employing Pip as my financial advisor cos she's a master at money management. Wonder if I could pay her in airline peanuts?
Watching a spot of Will & Grace then some Never Mind the Buzzcocks then a bit of sleep! But I know I'll get drawn in by the forum this morning and will end up falling asleep on the keyboard, so if I post "sjhnfkjdflhgjkfdlgjkfdbglkjblgjbghfdljkghfdjkhgljkfdagd" at some point, just ignore me

morning all!
Diva - :hello:
Bargainbird/Redruby - my son tells me that my leggings are Jeggings apparently:D that means leggings that look like jeans apparently. I got them so I could show my new boots off a bit. Not sure my legs are that good in them but I wear long tops so that the worst bits at the top aren't on show. A friend at work who is in the 20 stone region wears them so I reckon I can get away with them plus another friend is 60 soon and she regularly wears them.
(((hugs))) to Lowesy, Anguk, Pipkin, Molly, PP and everone else in need of one
plans today
ironing, clean at mums, make some yorkies, washing - 2 loads.Tap class tonight.
DH is back to the docs this morning as he's no better. Xrays this afternoon. No more news yet on my Auntie.
My friend Janet is doing really well and has started to drive again:T and she got a good report from the hospital so all is looking positive there.
Hope you all have a good day, take care xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
