I have bought these gifts for several reasons, firstly it breaks up the cost and secondly I am going to send it all back with the inlaws to save on postage to ireland :money:
Money is looking tight 3 weeks to go and £120 in the budget, I do have 3/4 tank of petrol which should see me into next week.
I have used a large packet of mince to cook with this weekend and made lots of meals so I think i should use this more in the next few weeks.
I have never included our o/d but I have managed to knock £300 off it in the last few months so there is a little bit of give if I need it, I have found reducing it every month in my spreadsheet keeps me in check.

There is a lot to be said for clearing the o/d and it is something I am considering if nothing else but for an emotional boast of actually having a positive balance for more than one day a month, plus it would give me a a bit of give (as you say) but its not what the snowballs says I should do...........decisions, decisions!

Why is it there is too much month for the money......
I have just counted up DH change pot and he has kindly saved £20 for me to pay off Lloyds im sure he wont notice, as it's mixed I will have to take it to hsbc's great little machine at the weekend.
Just found out in laws wont be arriving until Saturday night and will be gone early monday morning so should be a cheap weekend if weather is good i can take them to national trust Free with my pass.
In my preparations for xmas i picked some sloes whilst out walking this weekend and with a half bottle off vodka we are hoping for some xmas cheer. Spotted some blackberries tonight so going back tomorrow to help out another half bottle i have sitting in the cupboard.
