Can't believe that you will be debt free this time next year! If anyone can do it then it's you. Yes a new diary, but, what to call it, maybe we could all give ideas, although i like the name you came up with...A work in progress!

Its only a dream at the moment currently running at 10K left at the end of 2011 so I have some hard work to do.

DH has been up to his old tricks parcel has arrived today when questioned on the damage he said not much only about £140  but I may not like it yet and I can send it back it's on account. When will he learn I only broke it to him 2 days ago how much we cleared this year he obviously thought that means he has money to burn.

    BIG DECISION MADE
We (I) am going to book a holiday, not sure if its the right decision or not but as DS is 15 im not sure how many more we will get together, my plan is if we book now with a low deposit we can pay for it over the next 6 months (please dont shout at me ) I will still give the debt everything I have got.

Seem to always get drawn back to Fuerteventura as the weather always seems to be good and the prices have not risen much in the last few years unlike greece and cyprus which are other countries I love.
Lucielle you are doing so well in clearing your debt could you not treat yourselves, I am even considering taking a part time job to help pay for the holiday and make me meet my 2011 year end target.

What a difference you have made this year, well done it must have taken a lot of effort, I will be following your diary in 2011 and wish you every success.

Holidays are good they make long hauling less oppressive. My god parents go to Fuertaventura every year just after Christmas, they are there now, I wish that I was too, looking at these grey days. They told me that they always go all in now as it is so expensive to eat out etc and they couldn't afford it unless they were on an all inclusive. It must be expensive as they do not stint themselves and they are in a 5 star hotel.

We always go All Inclusive as once you pay for the holiday you no longer need to worry about money and with kids thats always a bonus.

I have now put my plans in place and I have started a new diary Part 2 not sure if this link will work, if your not bored with my rambling come on over to the debt busting party.

  • Before I join you over there, just want to say - well done, both on debt reduction and giving your self break/reward and taking a holiday. You are the best!!!!!!!!!
