Virgin Media Price Changes Effective From 1/4/2010

I rang up last week and he said it was just 30 days from NOTIFICATION of the increase but I told him how it wasn't and read him the terms and conditions word for word.
I got put on to his manager (who handled the situation very well) and after disagreeing with me read through the terms and conditions and said that I could only cancel in writing as it states in the terms and conditions so I have written up a letter. Bit annoying I couldn't cancel over the phone though. She said I could have in February but they won't take section J5 cancellations over the phone.
You have 30 days from the receipt of your first bill since the increase. Mine was on the 21st so I still have a few days.
"If you do not give such notice of cancellation within 30 days of any increase in charges or changes to the services or this agreement being notified to you or, if later, receipt of your first bill following such increase in charges"
So get your cancellations in!0
