i listed 198 items today, (books) and took alot of time too. and so far sold 29 of them giving me deducting fees a total of £87.92
edit: by the way it took me ages to list these items as I had to elaborate on condition of each as some were ex- library, some were paperback, most were hardback, some were very old etc. and i had to look through ALL my books to see what condition they were in . but am really happy to get £87.92 so farNeed to get rid of my Yankee Candle Habit, Not very money saving of me0 -
wow, 198 items? Wouldn't want to see your inbox!
Hope they sell, going to be up rest of night listing mine. BTW, anyone know how to list your own auctions? I'm partially sighted, and I just can't find it. the only items I can list are those on Amazon's own database.
Cheers and take care.

I had my very first undelivered item this week, but my buyer was a real sweetheart and v. polite about it all. Otherwise I sold about 9 books during the week, but mostly modest prices eg £4.00 but a few pensioners which is always good!:)Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

Off topic but i have just walked Hadrains Wall and after not seeing a shop (That didn't have strange hours or was open) for 4 days i think i have more of an appreciation for those that say it is difficult to get to a post office. Living in London i think i have got use to popping out at all times for a pint of milk and a post office on nearly every corner.
More on topic - Finally moved and won 1500 books on ebay, enough to half fill the new garage. After we unpack i am going to be a very busy person!0 -
Hello! finally got round to registering on the forum after a few months checking out what everyone was up to! Registered to sell on Amazon last week listed all my old uni books (and few i got for christmas and have read) managed to sell three so far only 12 left to go!
a few got damp in my boot - i have dried them and they havent gone mouldy but are crinkly any tips on what to do or should i just list this in the description and try and sell them anyway?0 -
Just out of curiosity, do most of you guys take your packages one at a time to the post office, visit once a day, or just make a weekly or twice weekly run?
My P.O clerks know me pretty well know, in fact they were joking that our office might be kept open purely on my business alone. £20-£30 every time I visit - I think the'll grow to love me yet!
Cheers and take care.
