Dear RoylesFormerOwner, whilst is good of you to try and defend your position (and yes you are right, there are many companies who would have 'cut and run') On this forum we have been quick to prevent posts becoming aggressive to you whilst, hopefully, offering sympathy to those affected by your course of action. That is why I am disappointed to see you've 'cut and pasted' a reply that you have clearly felt the need to use on other forums. To threaten legal action here, was IMO, unnessary and it was actually forum members who quickly acted to get posts mentioning your address removed.

I haven't seen anything but i assume it is getting a lot more vicious on other forums? This forum is usualy so nice and argument free, I realise people are always going to have complaints but I think they should try and stick to the facts whilst going through the proper channels to get things sorted.

I would like to thank The Former Owner Of Royles for her side of the story.

I can confirm some of the information she says, i meet with Pete of UK Weddings today at Cranage While he was on a setup for a former royles client. For free may i add, as the client had already paid the full balance and were not able to afford the extra spend.

Pete confirmed he will complete my booking within the spend left to pay. He informs me that he has recieved no monies from Royles to complete our booking nor has he recieved any of the monies we have already paid, however he was more than happy to complete our wedding without extra spend.

I have seen the standard of UK Weddings work and would have no issue with it at my wedding.

I think we should all put a line under these issues and get on with planning our big days.

Royles have gone bump, so have woolworths. Its not a life stopper and feel that given time this will all be forgot.

And before you all start, i have nothing to do with royles or uk wedding, am getting married at mere golf club this year

Time for me to bow out of this thread and stop reading it. I tried very hard to offer some understanding to both parties and if you take the time to read my post again you will see nowhere did I say it had "got on my nerves" and I offered you my deepest sympathy at what had happened to you. You have NOT read what I said, nothing I said was written in malice or with any degree of sarcasm, I am not that sort of person. I was merely trying to empathise with both parties but it now seems you have successfully thrown it all back in my face....I know when to step back from a situation and when my support is not needed so thats what I'm doing. I have always found anger negative and destructive and its not what this forum is all about.

I did not expect to get a warm welcome on this site. I also expected people to state that I should have done something differently. Like I said everyone has an opinion and what ever I would have done would have been wrong. It is nice to know that so many people know how to deal with this and I would love to know how many have experienced Bankruptcy and closing a company to make them such experts.
As I said before nobody takes pleasure in what has happened and yes Woolworths ceased trading, Ethel Austins have ceased this week and they continued to trade and have Customers in their shop up to the day the Receivers come in! It is so black and white to you not being involved in it and you only see your side of it.

With regards to no one showing aggression that is completely wrong and that is why I have posted "quotes". If anyone is any doubt of this you only have to ring Middlewich Police Station to verify the number of occasions they have had to attend this address in recent days because of
vindictive people taking the law in to their own hands. You state that no aggression has been shown to myself that is utter lies, why would other uses tell UPSET MOTHER and the other people who have posted this address to take it down because they know the implications of what might happen. Well it did and has.

Nobody has the right to force entry to my home and assault my family and friends and that is what some Customers have felt they can do and they have even bragged about it on these forums. JESS1478 has openly published my address on a number of sites now and stated that all I do is call the Police when they knock on the door, How does she know this if she has not been or sent somebody down to my home to cause distress and aggression?

As a consequence my daughter has seen that now on several occasions and has been frightened. For any human being to say this is not aggressive is just beyond me.

The person stating about how a 5 year old knows of the forum is so funny! Maybe when they are a parent they will know what it is like to see a child frightened. Utter disbelief that someone is so callous! Certain users of this site and others have persistently posted this address and when the Webmasters have taken it down they have posted it again or gone to another site. That is pure malicious and has every intention of causing harm.

Of course if they choose not to use the UK Wedding Company and go elsewhere they will loose money but that is their choice and there is no reason why this company can not fulfil the order and there is no guarante that who ever they go to can offer any more stability.

Those Users who have abused the forums and also attended my home knew what they were doing when they chose to go down that course of action and I do not apologise for being a responsible parent and protecting my family by involving the Police and if I have to prosecute people to stop this vendetta I will and I dont think that any of you would do any differently if you were being subject to this. Go through the correct channels and stop braking the law!

I agree that this thread needs closing now and should be left for the official people to deal with.

This is out of order, this has NOT been happening on this forum, any hint of aggression has been reported by the USERS of this forum as soon as it has appeared. MSE is very strict about 'Being nice to other users'. We pride ourselves on being supportive and helping each other. I have seen NO mentions of attending your house on here, and the moment your address was posted, USERS of this forum reported it to be removed. Whilst I am sorry you have had people make you feel threatened in your own home, and can understand how frightening that can be. The users of this forum (not including the one post wonders, who sign up to cause trouble) have NOT advocated anything of the sort. To come here and 'cut and paste' again, does you a great disservice.

To the Royles Former Owner - I think you may be contradicting yourself as on another chat forum you have referred to someone personally as being a "bunny boiler". You have actually named this person, and I think this is abusive.

If you were the 'responsible owner' like you quoted you were, why then did you not personally contact the brides and grooms involved to advise you were handing their details accross to another company? Surely this is a data protection issue as Im sure some people would not have wanted their details passing to someone they don't know!

As this is the MSE forum whould anybody be able to advise Brides-to-be what their options are? If they are lucky enough to be getting married later in the year would they be better off waiting until March when more information is available? It seems that the "its them or nothing" alternative may have some people anxious. Any advice for those in the very near future? Just more info might be good for all concerned.

It seems that in all the who-did-what-to-who and breaking of the ideals of the site that they have been forgotten.
