Sorry to hear about your son, hope things look up for him again soon, it is so hard to see your children struggling to deal with things

    Thanks F

I was very pleasantly surrprised to hear about your messages, at long last they came up trumps.

I bet you're pleased. I had been doing the sws for you the other day.

    What is everyone doing today?

I'm left with just ds1 and probably will do nothing.

Today is like a repeat of Christmas day, except I am hosting it and there are more for dinner!

I am like the walking dead today - house is like a bombsite and somehow I have to turn it around before 2. And I said my neighbour could come over after 11 - but said I'd leave a note to say that I was actually up and dressed before she came over.

I fell asleep during Doctor Who - I never fall asleep in the day, but somehow always do it with my family when they are watching that programme. I couldn't see it anyway as I was positioned behind the Christmas tree.

    Hi FR

I was laughing when I read about you behind the tree and falling asleep, not sure why that tickled me but it did.

Hope you get everything together in time today. I wonder if you are regretting inviting your neighbour, I think you probably are.

    Good Luck.

    Hi again

I've got too much free time on my hands today so online again.

    don't read if squeamish -

DS is catatonic and still in bed, I just bought in his breakfast/lunch and he's in a state so I said he's got to go out with me tonight. Whether I can get him up later or not is another matter. If we do go out, I'll be on the water. I think the imprint of what happened Friday night when I got in will stay with me long enough to steer clear from alcohol.. I can't believe I got that bad, it was a room spinner :( and I had to make myself sick to make it go away.

Who's been at the sales today?

Hope you are having a good day.

DS has made a recovery and going to pay for me tonight, thank goodness he's better. We're going out soon and probably do a lot of walking which I don't mind as I was stuck indoors for days (as long as it doesn't rain of course).
  • Hi ladies,

We had a quick look round the shops (there aren't many here) but couldn't wait to get out as it was so busy - Next and River Island looked like a bomb had hit them, and actually, there was hardly anything left. They had reduced my bag which I got a few weeks ago though, which annoys me, but never mind. I didn't get anything as it was mostly tat.

Glad to hear your son has picked up a bit. Enjoy your alcohol-free (?) evening.
We've only just had dinner here. I'm going to enter some competitions then settle down in front of the tv xxx
  • Glad yu managed to get him up Anglea- hope you have a good time out.
I'm still in my jammies and awaiting feeding by stepmum in a few minutes- poor woman- she does have to cope with a lot- dad is forever claiming he's hungry ;-*
Going to see FWB tomorrow- he called earlier to ask me to come over but i don't like changes in plan and i was still in my pjs.
Must go dad's demanding drinks be put on the table for supper- parentals, what to do- can't kill 'em and can't forge their signature at the bank :-)
