Sorry to hear about your son Anglea, you must've been worried sick. Xmas isn't great for a lot of people, especially if you're going through a rough patch in life anyway. Do you know what has triggered it off?
Can't say I'm in the festive spirit either, but at the same time, it's not as bad as I thought I'd be... at least I have Downton Abbey & EE to look forward to tonight. And chocolate.

Chelsea boots are the ones with those big bits of elastic at the sides. They're a bit manly but I think they'd look nice with jeans... not that I need more boots. My problem is that once I start shopping, I can't stop.

I had a B12 & folate (I think that's what it's called) test a while ago - my dentist also suggested it as she said my gums were very pale. My iron was borderline low so I take a supplement which has made my hair improve so much, but my B12 was over the maximum level (probably all the energy drinks that I have). Hopefully my eyes will clear once I get back into a routine of tablet-taking and get a few good nights sleep

Santa was very good to me- dressing gown, 2 bottles of perfume, cook book, lovely smelling soap.
cooked dinner and was nice- had the aldi 4 bird roast- quite nice but too much stuffing for me.

CL, I'm wondering if anyone asked about your B12 levels and if you told them about your energy drinks?

DS, he's always been like this. His life is very unusual where he mixes with billionnaires and prime ministers and does all sorts of strange things and the next moment he's laid up in bed for weeks. There is additional problems with a friend keeps getting drunk and letting him down, there was a very prestigious event recently where DS had to remove the friend as he was so out of control, and he's let him down over a trip next week to America. Plus when DS comes home, all his school friends have moved on.

Oh Anglea- poor guy. What a life! And as for friends...the ups and downs of hese relationships can hit you hard.
Cooking a quich efrom scratch (minus the pastry of course) and baking blind with no beans or anything in the middle so who knows what i'll turn out like- the parentals will eat anyting though so it's all good.

I messaged Bym yesterday , later I got a message to say he would have been alone but had been invited to dinner by a friend - but 'would LOVE to be seeing me' - hmm. Then I got another text today wishing me happy christmas, and to have a wonderful day.

I know the Muse does not celebrate Christmas, so I asked him how he would be spending the day and he said 'drunk'. He texted again in the early hours with a nice message for Christmas.
