FR I did hear from him after I posted here, I forgot he was goiing to be out with family all day.
What kind of photodid you send your two?
Have you recovered from all your guests and lack of chairs?
I went on another walk this morning, surprised my feet weren't hurting from yesterday.
Hi Anglea
Glad you heard from MM, hope all is going well with him
If you look on my facebook page you will see the photo I sent to Bym and the Muse. It is the one of me smiling on Christmas day. No response from either of them yet!
I have some nice photos of the family from boxing day. I ate too many chocolates after given them up for about 6 weeks. Have a 'chocolate' head now. Anyone else seem to get that? Think I need to wrap some up ready for presents with the best before date clearly marked. Have a box of chocolate biscuits too and savoury biscuits not opened yet - and no-one wanted any boxing day tea - but the christmas pudding all went. But I have stacks of cream left - unsure what to do with it all.
Lazy day today - I wish I had the oompf to go for a walk, it would do me good but all I want to do is chill on the sofa. Maybe tomorrow I will make it to the gym for a swim (no aqua classes this week)
Looking around at my presents - I don't want to seem ungrateful, but one of my family didn't want to buy me a suggested item (she did ask!) - but gave me various weird presents, including with a blow up 'perfect boyfriend', a calendar meant for someone who works in an office ( my 'main' present, she said) and a plastic whistle you wouldn't show in polite company! Not Rachmaninov

Hope you enjoyed your evening, Anglea.
Hi Mischa8. You already sound a lot more organised than many of us.. and I have been here for two years. :S I'm not sure about using a debit card (unless that's instead of your CC?) - I much prefer handing over cash. It hurts more.
NG, WOW that is a lot of spends:eek: I bought a v similar Red Herring dress in Leopard print (might've even been the same one)... but returned it. I did love it though - it was so flattering - just had no occasion to wear it.
Yu seem to buy a lot of dresses... I would love to raid your wardrobe!
I know what you mean about all of the returns though. I've not any huge orders for months. I was getting claustrophobic with all the stuff in my room, waiting to be returned. It felt like such an effort and most of the time I wasn't even keeping one item from each order.
Ziggles, I have loads of tiny pimples too. I wonder if it's something to do with alcohol for me. My skins has never looked as bad as it does at the moment!
LOL Frog... a plastic whistle? I do wonder sometimes why people buy such odd things for xmas,as ultimately it ends up as clutter... I'd much rather have something useful but boring.
When it comes to buying presents in our house, I tend to buy my mum things when I see them, regardless of the time of year. I bought her some nice boots a months ago, so that was her xmas gift from me.
I'm off to wash my hair. Don't think I'll go out today... not sure I can face the shops. Too crowded.0 -

Ooh were you getting antsy with withdrawal symptoms:D
Ziggles - 20 questions- re the pimples - are they small, hard and white?
Teeny tiney not white.
Did you find the money?
No sign:(
Are you having a good time with FWB yet?
Was ok- not in the mood but i went anyway. woke up in the night with horrible pains in my ladies departments...like a mix of tummy troubles and period pains. After the tests last week i'm even more concerned...:(
That's arkward with your friend and her 'adventures' and ideas, yet you want to be supportive for her in other ways.
I live in hope for a 'drama free' relationship in any sphere of my life:cool:
About last night, I had some ciders in the final pub and think it was a mistake as when I got home I raided the cupboards and fridge, might have to give them up for good as I had a horrible taste in my mouth.Frogletina wrote: »I have some nice photos of the family from boxing day. Yes i work throught it by eating fudge!

Make ice cream and give it away to your neighbours etc.
I made some malteser ice cream with evaporated milk once- yummy!

Haha hee hee- imagine ignoring a suggestion from the person then giving them a load of inappropriate stuff like that. I would just go for bath stuff or a voucher.CompletelyLost wrote: »Hi Mischa8. Agree on all points CL

Didn't think it might be booze related- i have been averaging 2 large glasses of wine a night since wednesday last week!:eek:Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
Hi all
New challenge is needed after all the excess eating.
I don't eat chocolate so luckily that hasn't been a problem but Christmas cake is the one for me (minus the icing as someone has eaten it all) Cider of course, and brandy butter that I've been adding to everything including trifle that already had thick cream.
Ziggles - hope you are ok - I used to get pains and there was a simple explanation only I' can't remember the name. Is it either side or in the middle?0 -
Hi all
New challenge is needed after all the excess eating.
January 2nd and I will begin a new challenge - I want to lose a stone in 6 months, not idea how I will do it - but I intend to give it my best shot.
I have had a headache all day which I am convinced is due to the chocolate I ate yesterday. It won't be difficult to give it up again. I have a large Christmas cake which I hasn't been cut yet - I need visitors to come round and help with all the excess calories in the houseNot Rachmaninov

Hi ladies
Still awake googling random stuff. Nice to be in my own bed/space. I think 2-3 days in other people's space is enough for me.
Anglea- the pain is in the middle- again like period pain- almost impossible to discern if it's ladies depts or back pain it's so deep.
I'm concerned my abuse of the pill is also to blame.
i am all in for that challenge- i am looking for a full body cossie so i can go swimming because the situation is totally out of control and i am doing little to help myself.
I was putting thick boozy spiced cream on everything too- from the trifle (which was not boozy- that's my excuse anyway), to the ginger cake to the mince pies. Thank goodness i have hardly any fun food here!Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
Ziggles, those pains sounds odd. At least you are having it checked out. I had a water infection a while ago which had gone untreated (didn't have the usual symptoms) and had spread further up... it was a pain deep in my back. I guess you have probably had that checked, though.
I have the period from hell and am feeling sorry for myself (sorry if TMI). I was awake late last night so being a saddo, I did some number crunching so here is my year (up until the 27th) in numbers. Enjoy!- I have made £3279.20 selling my stuff in 2011
- I've spent £3353.69 (this includes basically everything I have outgoing, minus the returns obviously, and apart from household bills like gas/elec)
- I have returned a whopping £2138.88 of goods in 2011. Poor shops.
- May was my worst month for returns (£474.04)
- December (so far) is the only month where I have not returned anything... but that may change before the year is out.
- £431.49 spent on junk food and takeaways  This is the biggest shocker for me.
- £656.73 paid for postage - a necessary evil.
- August was my biggest spend month. I spent £635.44, but this included two weekend breaks.
- March and December I spent the least.
So there you go. Now to improve and make 2012 a better year... my junk food spends need to be tightened up, as there's no excuse for it. Returns obviously I need to stop it. It wastes my time and just makes me feel bad.0 -
Hi all
just up- had bacon buttie but made with naan bread- delish new combo!
Pain has reduced o low level period pain ache so i can identify with CL- I plan to stay in bed all day.
Wow CL- those numbers are terrifying. I am impressed that you can trace everything. I mess about with my spreadsheets practically every week so i don't have real evidence where i'm going wrong but i can tell you the major culprits are food and petrol.
Also what were you selling that you made £3k???? I don't think if i sold every single item i own i would get that much!Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
Hi girls
Ziggles I just remembered that condition I mentioned - the ovaries flaring up. There wasn't any treatment for it as far as I remember and it used to come and go for years.
Have you ever had ibs? That can cause all sorts of weird symptoms in the nether regions and give back pain..
Bacon and naan bread. Was that the one with sultanas? I know they are all pretty high in calories, those breads. Sounds good though.. At least I wasn't the only one adding the boozy cream to everything.
CL, I'm also amazed what you managed to sell. Hope you are better. I'm also envious of getting all your figures up to date.
Junk food and takeaways - did you make a list of what you ate? I'm curious. Was this in place of a meal or at extra times?0 -
I'm officially starting the food challenge tomorrow (after today's intake), I feel so annoyed with myself.
Hopefully start doing proper financial update next week.0
