Well just went out to move mycarso Dad can get out and guess what- the gears won't work! That means I am now stuck here tonight- not that I was gonna do anything but...:(:(
Obviously I'll have no luck getting it fixed anytime soon and the when I do it'll cost me a gazillion bucks which I don't have. I had some ladies dept tests this afternoon and I'm concerned about results when they come. I know they tell you not to worry but i have reason to worry- a lot!Plus a friend has hinted about some work probs. So all in all I really want to go home and spend the night crying. But I can't do that here at the parents so I'll just smile and start drinking.:(
This has not been my year.

Regarding the niggles, I don't really know how to approach him about them. I'd rather do it in person, but then I don't want to spoil the good time we have together. He is my lover and toy boy - I think you are copying me Anglea!

Ziggles, I was sorry to hear about your test, hope there is a good outcome. And also your car and work! That's not nice having a series of things happening.

Hope you are managing ok this evening at the parents. Can they help you out financially at all?

You mentioned drinking, that reminded me I poured myself some neat Pimms and left it in the kitchen. Are you also drinking or was that just an expression for how you were feeling?

FR, I'm not worried about DS - yet. In all the years he lived away from home he never gave me any advance warning when he was arriving back and often had people to stay as well, so I'm used to surprises although it does annoy me. .

I think today he was supposed to have been helping his uncle with something, I forgot all about that until ex came round.. And tomorrow the uncle was coming over to my house and I said at the time we were all going to be in the pub so we arranged he was meeting us there. It would be nice if he was back for that. I just looked on skype but DS hadn't logged in.

FR, you don't want to ask questions directly because you don't want to spoil your good times. I have to ask - are you happy with only having such a small part of BYM? In many ways it is like being a mistress, only seeing them on their terms.

For me personally it wouldn't be enough.

These kinds of calamities are funny to the parentals so I tend not to ask for financial help. Just got asked what i was going to do about my car. So I'll figure it out in the morning. Problem is my mechanic is pretty rubbish for getting things done- brilliant at stuff but terrible for pinning him down. I can always borrow dad's car for a bit though.
Good grief Anglea the no notice things would drive me mental. I like to know when people are going to arrive so I can prepare. Though I do tend to drop in on the parentals.sometimes mostly just for tea but I usually say when I leave when I next expect to drop in.

I have to accept that I knew when we first met he wanted to date but nothing serious. But I have developed strong feelings for him, and I would like to play a bigger part in his life, but does he want to play a bigger part in mine?

I've played it casual - but it doesn't come easy to me. So yes, at the moment I am seeing him on his terms, and I haven't even tried to clarify what they are.

Can I accept only seeing him infrequently? Will it be enough? 'I don't know' is the honest answer. I need to discuss this issue and a few other things, but I don't even know when he will message me again, even less when I will see him again

Ziggles you would have died the time DS forgot to tell me he had invited his whole cycling team to stay for the weekend! I only found out by accident and had to get my parents and ex involved at the last moment.

It's nice you can borrow a car if necessary.

FR it's making me feel very uncomfortable reading your post. You do know that he's not the only BYM out there with long hair and a lyrical tongue (I'm not being naughty ) there are plenty others that like to write poetry and want a proper g/f. But you only have eyes for the one that wants casual and uncomplicated.

Guess who has just walked in the door?????

DS said his phone battery went dead today so couldn't ring. This afternoon he was with a friend so could have used their phone surely to say he was returning, but I didn't bother saying it.

I hope you will have a great time with BYM one day.

Just had an email from MM, need to reply.. I think I'll go to bed soon (famous last words) or I'll be in problems in the next few days as Ds2 is coming home and I'll be busy. .

I got up late and now feel groggy and put off what I had meant to be doing before DS2 arrives.. Very lazy today, I went to bed later than I meant.

I had more emails from MM late in the night. He wanted to ring me tonight but it won't be convenient as I'm going out even though we have been starting those calls at ridiculous hours lately. But I need to be sensible now as I have a lot to do..

Ziggy what's happened with your car?

I think in the New Year I might try that website FE used for selling books. FE if you are reading, was it worth doing?

I've been busy tidying house, washing clothes and trying to put off wrapping presents.

MM seems very keen with all the phonecalls and emails you are getting - lucky girl!

I was in bed at 2 last night, but got a text from my daughter in law soon after 8 to say my son had been admitted to hospital. She will keep me informed if there is anything I can do. I will only visit if I am asked to as he doesn't like much fuss.
