Do you remember what you said to both of them and they responded shortly afterwards? Is there a pattern?

I'm feeling in an extreme procrastinating mood, don't feel like doing somethings which need doing, I was hoping DS would be back to help.

Anyone going to join me in a pre-Christmas 'watch your weight' goal, since the weekend I had biscuits in the house and started having them with butter.

Straight after my cholesterol test yesterday in the cafe I had thick toast with butter too, withdrawal symptoms I think. I don't want to gain any weight now I'm much slimmer.

I'm going to check some earlier messages to check for a pattern. It's almost 2 weeks since I spoke to the Muse, there is something I was going to message him about tomorrow. Might see if I can find the right words to get him to respond quicker. Having said that, where the Muse is concerned, he does respond ok, but is not good at being the first one to begin a conversation. Whereas, Bym when he talks will say that he has appreciated the texts and messages but says sorry that he has taken a while to reply

Procrastination is my middle name right now, I haven't even put the Christmas tree up.

I have forgotten about dieting and will restart again after Christmas! Too much to deal with at the moment emotionally and physically

Oh, just had text from my son who has booked appt for the Doctor tomorrow

  • Hi guys
Been busy again on here? You should be out and doing christmassy things like the rest of the social loving, free world is doing. Me...I am sitting at home (parentals) just being. No desire to do the festive thing:-*
Frog- glad your son has organized a ppt. Boys are terrible at that kind of stuff.
As for your lover boys...I wish it were possible to just interview them, do a cash-talk session and just define terms of engagement!
@anglea- you called MM lover boy!!! Heehee.
I'll join you in watching your weight. I'll not go crazy and eat everything in sight that way.
@CL- I'm always underdressed but find as the event gets going it doesn't even matter and I'm always most appropriately dressed for going home too! Once turned up at a posh Christmas dinner with a big bit of tinsel Asa scarf and a Santa hat! Was a convo starter and also got me an admirer too!!! Enjoy.
@NG- hope you and deman can get some bonding/understanding/sorting the situation out time in over the holidays.
I'm off u till 4th now so will be putting my 10cents worth in quite regularly- you've been warned!!!

    Hi Ziggles

Not heard of cash-talk sessions - that is a new one on me.

  • Hee hee it's a very African term- where we get real with each other, up front and no holds barred.
Basically where money is concerned- emotion takes a back seat

Ah - I see. Very interesting.

As each day passes I'm getting to the stage where I am getting more and more questions that need answers. There are things that are really niggling me, even more have occurred today, that I have to sort out sooner than later. Unfortunately, whenever I want it out with someone, they must sense it and hide

  • I know the feeling. Only in my case- i'm the one hiding because I donn't know how to make it happen. I end up gettining myself in a tizz with these things. Works better if I'm the one answering questions, not asking!

I'm better at answering questions too. Which is why I find it I find myself being swept along a particular path, only to arrive at a destination I didn't know I was heading for.

Are all men difficult to communicate with, or is it just the ones that I find myself with or wanting?

Speaking of 'men' - forgot to mention any of them regarding my birthday yesterday.

I guess Bym didn't realise it was my birthday - I didn't say anything about it to him.

I would have reminded the Muse a year ago, but he obviously didn't make a note of it as yesterday passed without a mention.

My ex-husband didn't buy me a card or present, even though he came to my birthday party! I visited him on his birthday with a present, a card and a birthday cake. But he does have problems with his memory.

My ex-partner, however, sent me a birthday card in the post. I was most surprised. I was also surprised on how much it cost him too - he left the sticker on the front of the card!

    Men!

  • Haha- imagine turning up at someone's party with no card or pressie. I wouldn't go!
Boys are funny all round. Communication seems to be a problem for me and all the men friends i've had too. Seems i have to wait until they have a go at the truth juice to hear wht they think or want. But if that doesn't happen...i get nothing! Except 1 who used to send the loveliest letters and talk to me all the time- he said I was uncommunicative!!

    Hi girls

    Something really spooky just happened.

I had just started writing a reply to Ziggle's comment about who would turn up without a card or present, when I suddenly I heard their voice in the house, had to delete my post really quickly :) it was ex looking for DS who still hasn't turned up.

FR, you must be relieved you've heard from your son. I remember a while ago you mentioned his ill health.

As to niggles, I have to ask, how long are you going to go without just asking outright?

Nice to hear you'll be around more on here Ziggles, and that you're off work now..

Yes, MM is my lover boy :) toy boy too as it happens.
