Just sick of how low things sell for on eBay....I really resent it. But it's still vitally needed money so I can't grumble too much!!0

Evening ladies
Well as I said yesterday - I was very disappointed with my experience and I have draft written a email of complaint, I just feel very much something needs to be said and the woman needs to be retraine or something.
All I brought was some lovely black trousersI think I will wear them quite often tbh there smart enough for work, yet casual enough to be worn if just going to a pub resturant at the weekend
Brought a jacket too - tried on in shop and in my wisdom decided it fitted. Took tags off on train back, and put it back on cos i was cold - its HUGE on and also exact same colour as ive already got in a different material, so cheeky return on saturday hopefully for darker colour and also a smaller one woohooo.
I brought a swimming costume today - I love itunlike me tho, i didnt wait until I got home to get the extra 10% online, shock. So, I cant believe i am going to return it to the shop so i can get an extra £2.30 knocked off lol Only going to do this tho as some other stuff is getting returned to the store anyway.
Im sooo glad i didnt over spen yesterday tho. Oasis have brought a size 18 out which will fit me perfectly. And they have got the most stunning dress that I really want. Its £65 tho :O I never spend that much on one item - so going to have to make sure its worn tons.
next sale at the weekend - taking my mum, really looking forward to it
I need an ebay sale too - but im too lazy and dont think ppl will want my stuff.0 -
Hi all,
NG it sounds like you did well and were restrained with your purchases.
I think you're right to complain, even if it is free they should have someone with a little knowledge of body shapes and what is age appropriate. How old was she?
I've just listed some stuff on ebay - all on 'buy it now' at reasonable prices, so fingers crossed for some sales. I need to make another £90 this month to pay for my drivinglessons, so suddenly all those shoes that I "might wear at some point" don't seem so important.
I'm sooooo tired, barely functioning, so will write more tomorrow.
How are the rest of you doing - Ang, ziggles, FE, etc? x0 -
Hi everyone
NG, shame you didn't enjoy your experience. Is Dman going to buy your clothes in another shop?
I think it's going to be hit or miss if you get a stylist on your wavelength.
Other women using that service may want clingy even if they would seem to be the wrong size and shape for them.
You find good examples of this that tv show Snog Marry Avoid.
CL and FE you're doing really well with your listing.
CL how is your skin this week? Winter coat - I only ever wear a thin coat for all year round because I get too hot in a thicker coat.
DS had an audition for The Apprentice today, he's away in London most of this week so I can 'regroup'as it's been like a whirlwind lately at home.
I've bought some more books lately. I'll have to start some new challenges in August. This month I finished my finance form.
Fr - are you there - anymore on Beau, BYM or Muse?
Ziggles is your top black and white?
I bought a really nice long b/w buttoned blouse and I only wore it once, now in the back of the wardrobe, doesn't look right at all on me.
Next time, I'll write about some advice needed, funny story about men. Feel too tired now.0 -
Blah blah....broke...blah blah....more eBaying...blah blah. That's about as exciting as my life is at the moment. Being incredibly ruthless, trying to get some money and space. My house is not a museum...I don't need all this pretty !!!!!! that I don't ever wear/use, when it's taking up room, taking up energy when I have to lug it around when I move house, and when it could be making some much needed money!!0

Hi all
Re all your clothes selling FE. I was just reading about a household with a de-clutter challenge and they were getting rid of 6,000 items.
It does make me wonder how we all accummulate so much stuff although I remember on this thread some time back I started a 'one a day' declutter challenge and as soon as I got rid of a load of things I then started buying more.
Are you planning to buy clothes on your holiday?0 -
Hi Anglea...
No, I won't be buying clothes, as far as I can see, on holiday. I don't envisage a need or having the spare money for it, to be honest with you. I am just being pragmatic about it and getting on with both decluttering and more importantly bringing some money in.0 -
Hi guys- funny headspace-land again- but in a good way this time.
Work is awful just now- getting very stressy.
I am amazed at the ebaying going on here- more power to you babes!
Otherwise hope you're all well.

Hello all
Feeling a mixture of emotions reading the thread on the Next sale on here; some people have VIP codes so have been able to buy sale items already; the sale has not started instore yet, but there are rumours it starts on Saturday.
These emotions are both jealousy that some people are able to just drop £500 at the drop of a hat on this stuff as I'd love spare money to throw around...and also pity for some people as they can't afford it either, really as they may have spent £500 but it's all on a credit card. At least I have no debts (other than a student loan and a smallish overdraft).0 -
FE - I know what you mean, I dont understand how people can afford to just swing by next and spend £500 either. I think its rediculous that people want to spend that amount of money in one fail swoop. I am fairly lucky, I have a decentish paid job and little out goings and even I couldnt justify swinging by next and spending £500 in a single transaction that is the price of an holiday for petes sake! I think people who tend to spen that much are parents so they are getting XYZ to help support their kids and so they spend that money perhaps. But in reality who can just go spend that much money without the use of their plastic fiend i really do not know. Good luck to them next month though when their credit card bills arrive and they cant afford to pay them!
Oh so theres a 'rumour' huh hehe0
