Hello all
STILL eBaying....I am putting up a few items each day to keep people interested and to keep the money coming in...saving up a pot in Paypal for NYC.
Chucking a pair of trainers out today as they're falling apart. That leaves me with one pair of trainers only, which is fine by me...I don't need more than that. Shame they're Stella McCartney ones I'm having to bin.Sacriligious!!

Hi ladies,
NG - LOL at your dream! Though I'd never be that forward and fight someone for the last bagFunnily enough I did return a bag to Debenhams just recently! Although I had bought it for my mum, not for myself. And I do have long black hair
How was your shopping experience then?? Did you find anything you loved?
Am I the only one absolutely dreading winter? Simply because I absolutely HATE looking for a winter coat. Worst.Task.Ever. What do you all dread having to buy (out of necessity I mean)?
I'm currently having a bad skin month. I have a rash all over my face... I think it's from the heat... so itchy I apply calamine cream and 10 minutes later need to apply some more! I look like a leper, I'm not kidding you. My skin has dried out and is at the stage of looking wrinkly/scaly/red. Hopefully it will heal though :S
Ziggles - moan all you like about hayfever, because people who don't suffer from it don't realise how bad it is!!! Also you wouldn't think I had foreign blood in me at all as I can't tolerate the heat either, and burn so easily.
Returns... I have done very little of those recently, mainly as I haven't bought much. Just some jeans to return (£13) and a top maybeeee (£5). I can't remember the last time I ordered anything online... must've been over a fortnight ago... maybe even a month!
My last driving lesson was a NIGHTMARE though and I was glad when it ended. I was truly awful from the moment I got in the car, until the moment I stopped (or rather, the moment he slammed on the brakes for me). But gotta push past the bad experience as I REALLY want to prove that I can do this, and not quit!!! Just gotta keep flogging my stuff on ebay and resist the temptation to buy more stuff that I don't need...:o

Evening all - just a quick holla as I am just getting home and I am very tierd after my 14hour day out!
I've had a brilliant day today - but my god I was disappointed in the personal shopper experience, complete lack of customer service, listening to my requirements etc I am actually considering whether I can make a complaint about a free service. Such as, what personal shopper in a right mind would put a size 16-20 girl in clingy clothes? I asked for work clothes, got H by Henry Holland dog print dress? there was no thought whats so ever - amongst other stuff but will write more tomorrow!!
Overall though - I havnt bankrupted myself - which I guess if the personal shopper had of done her job properly I would have been on the verge of lol.0 -
NG: Yes, you can complain, and I would, personally. She is being paid to listen to you and to consider and assess your needs and put some thought into it. And of course, her lack of care has LOST her employers sales (and of course revenue), so they'd like to know that, I'm sure.
CL: I am still finding more to get rid of (got loads still to stick up on eBay) and did a big session trying on my clothes the other day...still got more to try on though. I've seen the clothes we're getting into where I work next season and am in deep trouble as there are a fair few things I want and I only have a tiny uniform budget....going to buy more on my standard discount...luckily I earn gift vouchers I can use there form doing online surveys etc so it lessens the blow.0 -
^Eeeek NG, that sounds bad. But as you said, the plus side is that at least you didn't come away with a ton of stuff you don't need. and it was free so they're probably not experts, just trained to flog the things that aren't selling well! I do like Henry Holland stuff but some of the prints are more for teens than someone in their 20s.
Looking forward to hearing about your purchases anyway.
As for me... I need to back away from the shopping web sites...
FE: I try to do the same with my clothes... but there are some items I just can't part with unless it's free listing and I put them on for a high price (which makes the sale worthwhile). Because sometimes I do end up wearing some of the relics from the depths of my wardrobe, so I worry that I'm going to regret parting with things, if that makes sense?!0 -
I hate seeing my expensive things go for virtually no money but it's better than nothing if it is taking up space and not getting used/worn...I start most of my listings from 99p.
As an aside, the black ugg boots are already at much more than they were last time around....got another 2 pairs to add to the site.0 -
It's scary how ruthless I can be....just found another LOAD of items ready to get rid of. If I've never worn them, what's the point? I'd rather have the money and the space, to be quite honest.
I am now the proud owner of 0 pairs of boots and 0 sandals.Even the beauty stash is being attacked. I've managed to accrue 17 mascaras. I only have 2 eyes !!!!!!!!

I wish I could adopt your attitude, FE.
I am definitely getting better though - my stuff is no longer crammed tightly in my wardrobe - I can actually get things out without a fight!I've been tough on myself this year and haven't purchased any cosmetics or toiletries unless I've completely ran out of the particular item. I also seem to have quite a few mascaras - I tend to win them often, and also received a couple to test from survey companies.
Glad to hear your Uggs are doing better - it seems that your non-paying bidder was a blessing in disguise.0
