    Evening girlies :)

    Hows everybodies weekend been?

Mines been pretty good - hetic as usual mind, was at work on Saturday so doesnt really feel like ive had my full quota! Oh well 4.5 day week next week!

I've been meaning to start my preperation for next Saturday this weekend - but i've not got round to it. I am doing a personal shopper experience and my amazing bf is treating me to a 'wardrobe update' the thing is, i've got lots of stuff in my wardrobe already, lots i don't wear.

Thing is, its either due to lazyness or something else, but i cant bring myself to throw my stuff away. I normally just put it in a big bag and put it in the garage out the way, thing is, i then forget what i've got in there so really it just becomes clutter but i cant bring myself to throw it away, i think that comes from when I was a child and a teenager where money was tight so I had to wear things for much more than I do now.

In my wardrobe, i've got stuff I know full well I wont wear anymore, but i dont even want to part with that stuff - keep thinking, well what if i lost weight, or what if next winter I needed XYZ.

Even though deep down I would absoloutly love to declutter myself, get rid of the stuff i don't wear for whatever reason and start again.

I have so little time, I dont feel like doing ebay etc - i dont really have designer stuff and cos i always sale shop i wouldnt really get much for it on ebay to make it worth my while of having to faff getting to the post office before work.

Does anybody else feel like this about their stuff?

FE - I cant remember from last year - does Liverpool have a big dorothy perkins?

NG, I can't be arsed really either but I need the money and the space so I get on with it. It does upset me selling for example £200 Ugg boots for £12.50...the girl didn't even pay and I have to wait for eBay to finish chasing her so I can relist it and hopefully get more money.

You also get the most !!!!!! and annoying questions and proper tightfisted people on there. I am all for MSE but being a tw4t isn't good!!

There IS a big (ish) DP in Liverpool, near Primarni and Next. :)

    Hi all

NG, I'm like you with the clothes you can't part with but never wear. I've got lots. It got the the stage one day that I took them off the hangers and into the house recycling box for the binmen, I got that fed up with my hoarding.

However, a few days later I took them out and they are back in the house LOL

The other day I was looking at some new tops in the shop, they were exactly what I like (but never find) so decided to go another day and buy one. Guess what I found in my wardrobe when I got home??? Exactly the same one still with the shop labels attached. It's because I have so much crammed inside a tiny cupboard I don't know what I've got.

(Unlike some lucky so and so with 3 wardrobes :))

FE, sounds like there are some extreme bargain hunters on Ebay.

    Hi girlies

FE - OMG I can't believe what somebody A: won a pair of uggs for that price B: didnt bite your hand off and pay for them there and then, they are the price of crappy-supermarket ones! :(

I hope that you get them back on there and make a bit of money for them - nobody should part with stuff like that for that price, once all fees taken into account you'd have got less than a tenner.

When I used to list on there (many moons ago when I was a student) I brought several jane norman dresses in the sale for £13.50 - because, I brought one, sold it on there cos i didnt like it and got £50 quid for it. Sometimes they'd sell for about £23 other times I was in the 60s so it really is the luck of the draw unfortunatly.

Anglea - Yep I do the same, I love stuff in the shop, go home and i've got one a bit too similar so have to return it lol.

Its going to be interesting to see my behaviour on saturday. I would like to consider myself quite restrained when it comes to buying clothes, i know I do buy a lot, but I return a fair few too, and also I don't buy as many as I could. It'll be interesting to see whether, once I can have pretty much what I want brought for me whether I actually find anything, I always find when im looking to buy something I can never find anything myself normally - or whether ill be like varuca salt and want it nowwww :)

    Evening ladies,

It's been such a nice day... spent the first half in the garden, then it got waaay too hot so I went indoors.

Anglea: did you get your reply box issue sorted? I'm sure that if you posted on the Techie forum you'd get some help. I would've been gutted to lose all my photos etc... I always backup everything once a week (when I remember :S)

Glad to hear the finances are done. I bet that's a weight off your shoulders.

FE: some people on ebay do take the pee. I try to start my listings on a price I'd be happy with, rather than just 99p, so if I do sell I'm not disappointed. You did well making £400 from your sales. I managed a mere £110 profit.

Like FE I need the money too (no other source of income) so even getting a couple of £s makes it worthwhile for me... it all adds up... though it is quite sickening to see how little some items sell for (esp when I had paid a lot for them :S). At the same time it's GOOD because it makes me think twice about spending on things that I might end up having to sell!

I hate to admit it but I'm really enjoying my driving lessons. I've got enough to pay for another 5x lessons, but after that I'm going to have to get my butt into gear and start being ruthless. The good thing is that it's making me think twice about every penny that I spend. If I hadn't gone on holiday at the beginning of the month, things wouldn't be so bad and I'd have the money :( But never mind.

I will report my spends later on... I haven't totted it all up just yet, but I don't think I did too badly tbh.

    Hi all

I got the graphics problem, reply boxes etc sorted by DS a short while ago this evening, however the fonts are tiny again

It seems to be they are the default size set by the system and if you start making them bigger, the pages start going out of alignment. So the only thing I can do is use zoom for each page which I find a nuisance.

I'm so glad you are enjoying your driving lessons CL.

I did have a copy of everything on the computer but it got corrupted :(

I think in future anything important I'll send myself in an email.

What a pain. That would drive me nuts... I have the biggest-screen-in-the-world, and the font is also set to HUGE, because my eyesight is rubbish. All my important stuff is backed up on a memory stick, so separate to my actual pc. I would literally die if I lost everything from my pc - my entire life is saved on here :S Definitely worth backing it up somewhere separate in future.

You could lose the memory stick CL, I think the email option needs to be considered as well.

I haven't yet investigated online albums or websites to see if any of my photos are still there. Because I lost all the bookmarks I can't even remember where I've put them :(

I tried messaging someone on FB to get the URL of one of the sites I used but FB seem to have changed the way you PM, so instead of starting a new conversation, they added my post to the bottom of a very old one. So now I don't think the person has read it.

Do you have the same thing on your FB page?
