Hi Frog - Yeah I remember saying to OH we got here at the right time cos the queues forming now. There was a lady who went straight to a seat although she could see there was a queue, her son said theres a queue but she was like oh iv been here plenty of times, like it doesnt matter she got in front of the queue!

Irrelivent of what beau has said/done etc - always go with your instincts and there clearly telling you to be wary of this man so be careful. Men can be difficult enough to manage even when they are english speaking. lol.

tee hee this is like a proper soapie guys- i love it!
Scallywag beaus- i thought that meant playa too. So where are you hearing this news Frog? I am quite interested to know. But i must alert you to the dangers of men abroad (english speaking or not) for British women! I'm sure YKWIM...Wouldn't want you to get stung but i'm sure you're wise enough to see it coming. I second what NG says but have fun if you can.
I'm tempted to now say my arrival time is later than it is so i can go round town/debenhams and see/taste the wares
Where is it? is it anywhere near the central train/bus station (for my bag).

    Hi Ziggles

When you leave the ticket barrier, walk to the exit on the left hand side and across the street is Debenhams

My news re Beau? Let me say that Facebook is a very powerful tool - one remark on a photo can lead to a lot of information that one does not expect.

    Hi girls

I love that word scallywag, reminds me of the Famous Five.

Trouble with FB is that although it could unearth info about others, it can work the same for you and because of the way everyone is interconnected.

I found out some horrors about people I used to get on really well with via their status comments, never knew they were like that before. Probably because those kinds of conversations never came up. Now I can never think of them without being prejudiced.

Fr. I'm also wondering why you are thinking of meeting up at that time of night if he's a dodgy character.

I have to admit- i have used FB for having a rant/vent about anything and everything under the sun in the past. I stopped after i got a phone call from a Canadin cousin to see if i was ok! Now i just put up random updates/quotes/observations etc.
After spending the day browsing the bullring and location of bus/train stations i'm thinking i should just tell the rellies to pick me up later like maybe midday- giving one time to mayhaps have a lookee-see as opposed to being picked up at 7am and hence not spending a small fortune as i will do due to the variety we don't get here in teuchter-land (look it up) (i also worry about people fatigue if i then have to spend the next few days with strangers- any one else suffer from that?)
What do you think i should do?

    Hi all

Ziggles will 7 am be too early for the shops? Also won't you be exhausted after the overnight trip?

If you have difficulties being with them all the time, going to meet a mate if you manage to make arrangements with Fr. half way through the visit would be a good reason to get a break. That way you won't have to be worrying about bags or lockers.

People fatigue, that's a good name for it. I'm fine with crowds of strangers or family but tend to feel exhausted by the evening possibly because there has been a journey and lots of sitting down, then food and more sitting down, and you get asked a lot of questions that you don't really want to answer.

I had another clothes and shoe trying on session today. Even managed to find the type of coat I'd been searching for ages and tried it on - too big - apart from that it looked awful on me LOL

I've mentioned before I live in a small place so I'm always intrigued by the designer shop as it often looks busy yet other shops have hardly any customers. Today there was a sign in the window, reductions from £700 to £150. Would any of you buy one item of clothing for £700?

I couldn't leave the shops without a purchase, so got another book :(

    £700??

I'm horrified I have spent up to £50 on the dresses I have just bought. Can't imagine how I would feel at £700.

The only expensive dress I have ever bought was for my son's wedding a few years ago, I have lost weight since then and I only wore it the once and I think I looked awful in it.

He and his then fiancee went with me to buy it, but I think it was a mistake. It was about £120 after a reduction. I do wonder if it would look better on me now, it then showed every bit of excess weight I had

Well, I was out with him alone till about 4.30 when I was there before on my last night. The bars are open until 3 so I was just thinking of meeting up for a drink, just across from the hotel are several bars, though I am sure he will try to pursuade me to go down to the boat with him.

I intend to keep things casual between us - and want to ensure there is no ulteria motive to his wanting more than that (which I am sure there may well be)

haha Anglea if you added up all the clothes in my cpboard i don't think i'd hit £700 never mind buying something that pricey! and hee hee on the coat- isn't it always the way- you picture yourself all gorgeous and glammed up in something only to find it and it look absolutely rubbish! part of the reason why i tend to stick to the tried and boring but tested.
You're right though too early for the shops. But only thing is i can't get away from these peeps at all as i shall be a guest (and at their expense in a hotel) Maybe just disappear to my room (hopefully not sharing) I'll survive hopefully i'll not turn into a moody mare from over exposure!
@ Frog late night liasions with men....my my my whateveer shall we think!;)

maybe we should arrange to meet up one of these days?
