Hi Anglea,
I'm a caffeine-addict, it has to be said... They're sugar-free so it's definitely not the sugar I'm addicted to. Still, I suppose I could have worse addictions :S
You reminded me of my most recent food addiction, those mini cheese-flavoured ritz biscuits. Arghhh they are evil! I can sit and eat about six packets in one go. That's probably the best idea not to buy multipacks as I'm the same, never satisfied until they're all eaten. I know what you mean about your mouth the next morning - dry as a stick!! All the salt in crisps/savoury biscuits has got to be bad for us.
The declutter continues today... I must photograph some things while it's still light, to shove on ebay tonight. ziggles - I'm planning on sending my CDs to musicmagpie too, as by the time I list them on amazon and they take fees, I usually only end up with a few pence. Musicmagpie also pay a pittance, but at least I can get rid of them all in one go.0 -
Hi all
CL I've tried red bull a few times but didn't like it, if I had to drink a fizzy with caffeine it would be the original coke because it can help with stomach upsets or headaches.
I do know that too much salt is bad for you, because I had a problem years ago with terrible headaches and the doctor took my BP and it was sky high. The culprit turned out to be soluble headache pills that had a high sodium content.
Wish me luck I'm off to the shops now.0 -
I know my mum doesn't like the taste of red Bull either. You might like the Red Bull & Cola better, the new one they've brought out? Anyway the caffeine content is sky high so probably best avoiding anyway :S I haven't had any today, but I have had 2x cups tea and a can of coke!
So Anglea, how did your outing go? Do you have anything to confess?
I have been in all day! Feeling slight regret about not taking the placement but hey-ho, I'm sure something else (better) will come along. And I'm going shopping & then to the cinema tomorrow, so all is good.0 -
Hi all
Miracles - came across some items on my necessary list that have been elusive for a long while. (boots and 2 x throws but not sure if the colour is right) I haven't unpacked them yet, will leave it until I have proper daylight tomorrow.
No books although I was on the verge of being naughty. I tried to convince myself that the 'books for sale' rack in the library would be ok as they were dirt cheap. But I walked away - probably because I didn't see anything I liked.
Minus - ate 4 iced buns that I cut up and added butter
I bought a pack of 7 yesterday thinking they would last the week - just like your Red Bulls CL :rotfl:
I don't think moderation is a word in our vocabulary!
Cinema and shopping. Hope you are good CL.
Don't feel bad about the placement, it wasn't right for you.0 -

Evening ladies,
I had a nice afternoon/evening. The cinema tickets were freebies and I didn't buy any food (I ate before I went and took some popcorn that we had in the house) so no spend there.
Unfortunately I couldn't resist the shoe sale at Outfit :S There were sooo many in my size and they were cheap. I bought a pair of blue flats for £6 - I don't have a pair in this colour.
Also got some boots from the Warehouse section - originally £45, reduced to £25 but scanned at £15! I do love the boots and wore them as soon as I got out of the shop, as my shoes were uncomfortable. I justified these by telling myself that I would have spent around £15 on the cinema & food normally. Also I don't have a pair this colour OR length.:o
I saw others that were cheaper but I talked myself out of buying them, as they weren't really practical even though they were a bargainous £3. I was quite proud of myself for walking away from them :rotfl:
As for iced buns... I loveeee the ones from Greggs with the synthetic cream in them. The icing sugar on the top makes my skin itch so badly though that I always regret eating them! :mad:0 -
Hi all
LOL CL, you and your boots! I'll let you off this time.
Guess what, I dreamt about you. I didn't see you close up in the dream but you were in the distance, getting out of a swimming pool in a cossie, you were very slim and had long hair and I was telling someone nearby, 'that's CL'
Iced buns with cream - sounds interesting. I hope I don't go looking for them today!
How long did it take you to find out that the icing affects your skin I'm wondering? Was it a case of having icing a number of times before realising?0 -
Hellooo,
Haha, did you really Anglea?! It's funny when you dream about online people - it happens to me a lot too. I do have long hair but wouldn't be seen dead in a cossie or bikini, lol.
My skin is terrible for reacting to things. I have some problem with sugar in general, and icing sugar is one of the worst offenders. I'm suffering for it now though - my face is full of red blotches and dry patches, and concealer won't cover it. I need to stop eating so much rubbish. I still can't believe that I'm not putting weight on despite eating more - it's so weird, especially as I was never like this before... my "natural" weight was always 1.5 stone heavier than I am now. I had my thyroid tested and it is borderline overactive but my Dr didn't even mention it to me (I had my results printed).
Aaaaaanyway, I have nothing planned for this weekend which is probably for the best really as it's a free ebay listing weekend and I have some things to list. What are the rest of you doing?0 -
Hi all
happy wekend!
I've been stoodup for a date luckily i didn't even get ready as he didn't get in touch yesterday to confirm so not THAT annoyed but it still hurts a bit!

As for the iced buns- really ladies???? And with butter? I just can't see it at all or understand it. But i won't lie..i will try it one day:D
I'm supposed to be doing some accounts but who know if that will get done i'm soo lazy! Might bring my pamper schedule forward and have a bath now and then go out for supplies and do the accounts tonight like the loser i am
