Hi Anglea and everyone
Took 2 bags to the charity shop yesterday and it was a great feeling to let go of items I did not need - I have more to take today
Also, I was told in the shop that as I am a taxpayer they can reclaim 28p in the £ for everything I took that gets sold, so that's even better.
4 bags binned as well and my files containing my paperwork (I have lots) are now getting much tidier and slimmer - lots more to do still but intend to do something each dayNot Rachmaninov

Hi all
F. No wonder you feel good, letting go of those 4 bags as well as the filing.
Today I had an avoidance chore - cleaning mirrors. And it looks as though I might have lost a friendnot the type of thing I had been expecting to let go during this challenge.
She's been acting very strange with me lately, avoiding me and obviously lying when I asked what was wrong (giving excuses that didn't add up). I'd rather she just told me the truth rather than make stuff up.
Another bad consequence is that I can't stop eating!!!0 -
oh i am sorry anglea !
i have been good.. not shopping apart from the little bits and pieces for my little girl princess party...we planned to invite boys and girls but the little miss said she wanted a princess one, so got 6 little girls coming to my house!... i bought all the little presents to give away, i will cook a nice chocolate cake on friday ( party is on saturday) and still need to buy a few things to eat, drinks .
i have only concentrated buying gifts lol... anyway i ordered a couple of things on line and the rest *-food wise will get it on friday too.Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0 -
A princess party sounds lovely, so what have you been buying - I know you want to confess Morocha
Edit - I misread your post, you have been good.0 -
Hi all how are you getting on?
Challenge - very minor item today, but something I'd started avoiding - using up something I cooked earlier in the week. Went out but didn't buy anything.
Turned down some free food from mum because lately whatever I have, I can't stop eating in one go. So yesterday when I was given a pack of posh oat biscuits, I virtually ate the lot - with rasberries and ice cream  Wicked combination!
I realised something important, I was much slimmer a few years back when I used to go to the cafe 6 times a week and eat cakes, than now when I only go once a week. Very odd!0 -
Hi All
@Andlea- maybe because you control (or in my case don't control) the portions. When you got out you have one lovely cake and don't really inhale the whole thing in one sitting. At home however...a whole tatco mini-cake in an evening i've done...:o
Sorry about the friend it can be hard.
@Minstrel-well done on the planning ahead
@Morocha- enjoy the party planning i love seeng little girls do their princess thing- too cute!
I have not gotten that far with my list but i am finding that i am finishing the boring stuff in one go...not leaving it for later.
i have eaten those shrooms- some yesterday and some today- can you believe i have to schedule food in...but i was loathe to chuck them. Oh and i'm halfway through the filing:jBlessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
Anglea, I know I keep plugging it but try selling your books on Greenmetropolis. And tell all your friends as the more people visiting the site, the more we can sell. I've sold 13 so far this month. It all helps!!
Everyone else: Mad busy at the moment and looking to take on another job to make some money as although I am being relatively well behaved and not spending too much, I do need to really get some significant savings starting to build up.
And still managing to declutter, not only by selling books but because I have been binning things I don't need/want just to create some space in this tiny little bedroom!!0 -
Here i am:j
1- Do filing- pile is ridiculously huge- i never do it as i hate it. But i hate looking at it more:mad:
2- sort out booking and travel and hairdresser for edn weekend
3- eat those 'shrooms on tuesday

Good luck with your filing Ziggles. I can empathise as mine is always left until the pile is huge before I start.
I've already started to cheat on my daily challengeplus bought some more books.
Have a good day everyone!
