Hi all
Mistrel re you not wanting to start things. I can empathise with that, often it can happen when we decide that it would be a really good idea to do something without taking into consideration what it actually entails. So you might like the idea of getting your qualifications but certain aspects of the work don't hold your interest. Or perhaps you're the type of person that works better under pressure so you leave it to the last moment.
Hope you can finish your assignment in time.
Today I was putting away things in their correct places, an avoidance chore that I found far harder to do than just gathering things up for the charity shop.
So mistral, what do you tend to buy that you don't need?0 -

That was funny about you being able to supply Avon from your bathroom, well done for not going out and getting even more you don't need. I think most of us could start our own bookshops!
I found that since I started using this thread I dramatically cut down on my spending, so hope it works for you too Minstrel. Plus hopefully now you can get rid of some of your excess chores and stuff as you joined in the challenge.
Hope you find something more to cross off your list tomorrow everyone.0 -
Good Morning, well as you can see its 5.AM and I am up and about (insomnia, more on that later)
Angela, not sure how this site works yet, do I put down my daily progress in here, as i have joined your thread or do I have to start my own diary off ?

Nice to see a new face around here.
Good luck with your days tasks, I try to tackle my wardrobe get a few bits out, get distracted then have to put away before bed - typical me! Are you like some of us, lots of stuff but only wear a tiny bit of it? lol
Feel free to put your daily rants/thoughts/feelings on here - lots doI certainly used to!

Morning All!
Hi minstrel-5AM!!! good grief. That would just about finish me off. Soo tired these days but seem to dream lts of wierd dreams so not getting good sleep.
i know the trauma of coursework. I used to start off well then ignore it for like 3 weeks then panic the weekend before. But i still yearn for college days. I am itching to find something to do right now;)
Well i am glad to report that i am half way through my filing pile. i hope to be finished by the end of today. it's such a liberating feeling tidying up and binning stuffNot a clothes hoarder (too big to find loads of nice stuff) but i do like to keep stuff to a mnimum- too much moving about and living all over the place in the past. i think i'never really settled properly and feel like i'll have to pack my stuff into 20kg one of these days- being too poor to ship anything anywhere shuld i relocate.
@Nglady- i think i've just done my daily ramble
have anice day allBlessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
Hiya NGlady,
Yes i do have lots of clothes but only wear a few. I am making a decision not to by anything new until Christmas, only thing I need to get is a couple of bra's, everyday ones. I have emptied my wardrobe, everything is on the bed . clothes coats, bags, shoes the lot. Disgusting waste of money.
I am going to have a go at putting some stuff on ebay ? I do have an account but only bought 2 things. Have any of you any idea roughly how much it cost to list. I know I have just missed a Free listing weekend. Thought about listing at the weekend but in true form didn't do it.
I too have lots of books but did take a lot to the charity shop. I read quite a bit as I work night-shift.
Planned spending for today.
£10 for petrol
£5 max on food but will try to keep it down to the lowest.
DH paid tomorrow and I get paid Fri, but its going to take quite a bit of juggling to pay everything, as my payday loans will come out on Friday £680 . I will have to re borrow but with my £90 a month saving and my cutting back, it will be a lot less. I Pay a loan of £200 a month, which only has 3 more payments to make. So I will clear that and my my payday loans for Christmas. That my long term plan. Planning 3 months ahead is something I have never ever done. :j
