I hope your OH will get the work situation sorted, compensation if nothing else. BIG HUGS0 -
Angela, we shall be refering to him as Mr Derby
He is a really lovely chap
So - I have been pretty good with my spending this weekend considering what i've been up to
Friday I met up with Mr D and went to the Seaside - Oh it was lovelyWe had a really good giggle in the car and then had a very nice time there. I brought some shoes - lol £12 from Dorothy Perkins, but i've fancied them for ages at full price. Not quite sure what I spent at the seaside, but I did pay for the rides and some other bits and bobs so i'll call it £30!
Then saturday - i've been loosing a bit of weight recently. Went to Manchester with my mum. Another lovely day. Spent £12 on train £9 on dinner £4 in starbucks. I tried a stunning maxi dress on - in a size I wouldn't dream of normally, and it fitYAY me so £15 and £6 on some just pink perfume
Sunday was spent relaxing - I spent £20 on work food for the week. Very expensive really but im seeing the benfits - so worth every penny.
Total a huge £104 smackers, but It was worth every one of those 10400 penniesAnd £28 of that was refunds anyway

Hi NGlady
How lovely you had a nice time with Mr D - won't ask too many details about what you did in the car LOL
So you've introduced him to shopping right from the start. Was he alright about it - interested or bored?
You bought a maxi dress. You've mentioned them a lot on here. Can't remember now, but didn't you also buy a white one? Have you worn it?
Reading your list of expenses, it's amazing how quickly it mounted up, because the amounts didn't seem that big.
You sound really happy.0 -
Hey Angela
I had a very lovely evening last night with Mr D too
I brought a white dress recently, but not a maxi onegot to wait for it to fit me
hopeing to wear my new maxi on Sat night though
He felt quite uncomfortable in the shops, so don't think its an activity I will be sharing with him, but to be honest I am OK with that will hopefully stop me shopping quite so much hey.
Hows you been?Learning to be 'good with money'0 -
Hi all
Mr D again? Shall I start looking for a wedding hat? :rotfl:
I can't remember what I've been doing, the usual I suppose. Ex solved the mystery of the washing machine - a loose coin! Can't believe the noise it made. Like a helicopter!
I've been to the cafe today for a coffee and cake with DS also had 1/2 kebab and 1/2 chips and will probably be eating lunch out for the next few days.
I did read your other message shortly after you posted, but felt really tired that day. So I was glad to get your reminder to 'wake up'
I wonder how everyone else is doing. CL - we need you back.0 -
HaHa - well hmmm who knows.... maybe in 2013 or something
Oh thats a very clever exreminds me of my dream about blue walls lol
Ooo I could just fancy a nice chicken kebab
I'll forgive you being very tierd Angela, you do a lot of walking!!!
Yep hurry back CL!!Learning to be 'good with money'0 -
Helloo,
i'm back. Sorry... I'm easily side tracked. Have been enjoying my week of having the house to myself :S also veeeeeeeeery addicted to the Big Brother livfeed. Have definitely got my £15's worth.
I think I have 5 pairs of boots now (and 2 pairs of wrecked ones from last yr), but 3 of them are the same boots in a different colour. I think I'll be returning the tan coloured ones as they make my breezeblock feet look even bigger.
Anglea - you've made me hungry, I just fancy a kebab with chilli sauce. Haven't had one for such a long time... which is probably a good thing. I'm just amazed I haven't gained the stone I lost! I guess it shows just how much rubbish I must've been eating before. I actually don't miss it at all - I feel like even now I'm eating far too much junk :S
So yeah... how are the rest of you doing? I'm going to make an effort to log in more often. When BB is over, I'll be back with a vengeance!0
