  • Hi all,
Really busy at the moment with trying to get things organised as I'm moving house in a few weeks time and all my stuff is in storage, plus of course starting uni and looking for additional work on top of that to survive on.
As for my Friday: I plan to stay in and do very little; I may do some reviews on DooYoo to try and get some more AMazon vouchers saved up towards a tv and other things I want.
Then this weekend I am working 8 hours Saturday and 7 hours Sunday....doing a stocktake in a MASSIVE shop is going to be anything BUT fun. Just thinking of the money to get me through it.

    Hi all

FE, you're moving again? That sounds like a very busy weekend, good luck, made me shudder when I read of all that stocktaking.

I had another washing machine saga today, thought I'd double check to see if it was me overloading it yesterday - no it wasn't - just been dealing with the very wet lot I had to extract from it.

Because my weekly club isn't on during August, I got the days mixed up this week, thought yesterday was Wednesday and today was Thursday. This has affected a few things which is annoying.

Hope you all had a good day.
  • Hi,

wow, can't believe the last time i posted was 19th July :o so much to catch up on...
I don't even have a reason for not posting, just generally feeling apathetic and guilty. Though most of my spends were things I needed, so it's not that bad.

You all know the battle I have to find shoes that fit, so when I found some boots I liked I've ended up buying a pair in every colour. They're only £17 a pair though so I don't feel too bad. I went on a shopping 'spree' with my bro recently too... errr yeah, the least said about that, the better.

I will read all your posts and reply tomorrow. But yep Anglea, I am still doing my running :)

Thanks guys feeling a bit better as cheque has cleared and can start paying stuff off now.

Still feel sick about it though as it's my past and me being stupid while I've been on maternity leave that has got me here.......

But once paid I can start a fresh!!!! I hope

I would start putting that money away but due to change in circumstances if I hadn't been given this money I would of had to move as I wouldn't have been able to pay everything and now it means I can but only just!!!! Think this is the other reason for being so upset as well....

Well heres to a new start with my spending!

TLB - it's good that you are able to start afresh though. One thing I have learnt is its not healthy to dwell too much on the past as you cannot actually change it, but healthy for it to be a bean in your mind in the future so you don't go down the path again, you cannot change the past move forward and make it different :)

    Hi all

CL so how many paris of boots did you end up with then? Glad you're still running.

FE- good luck for work this weekend.

NGlady - update after your marathon shop today please.

tlb -I know that it can be very upsetting when we start thinking 'what if' and it's usually the opportunity to start beating ourselves up.

Because life is a mystery you can't know for sure what would have happened if you acted differently. Something totally unrelated to money might have happened instead to make life difficult - or better, you will never know.

i having been here for ages! how are all of you doing ?
i am ok.. trying to sell things to generate a bit of cash, not doing too bad... i am busy doing that and with the LO.
I have been quite good, not spending money and selling my stuff on Ebay. apart from a t shirt £3.70 in River Island i havent bought anything for myself for weeks !!... yes, i decided that i really need to lose weight, so that it's keeping me busy too, trying to get out as much as i can with my DD.

Morocha - well done for not buying anything...

Well I've got one credit card to pay off and keep wondering should I shouldn't I but I think I should otherwise I'll fritter the money away I'm sure and will still have debt but once this is paid I'll be debt free except for £300 on Argos card which is on 6 months interest free but after having all that debt £300 is nothing!!!!

So my challenge this well is to only spend £20 this week biggest challenge will be today when I go to town for dentist and thursday when I go to meet friends at the pub. This money is to include everything!!

I will keep you Informed of all my spends this week including Internet and eBay which I often discount!!!!

TLB I honestly think, you should pay the Argos card off. If you get into the mindset that Oh its only £300 on an argos card, whats an extra £30 on a dorothy perkins card an extrea £50 for a dress on a credit card etc, you'll get into that mindset.

Sorry i've been quiet this weekend girlies, i've had probs the best weekend of my year so far :) Shall update with Why soon :) And yes its a man!!
