    Hi all

NGlady, I dread to think how many returns you'll end up with after your trip to Liverpool :)

Mr Derby now. Do you have a map of England with flags for each town? :)

I remember really upsetting ex after about a year of going out because we had to travel a long way to meet up (living 300 miles apart) and it was expensive so I said either get engaged or split up! He was horrified.

Gosh angela, 300 miles?! How often did you see each other?

Lol No i do not have a map of england with flags for each town *Pretends to be very offended!* ;)

Well I have a couple of returns to make in Liverpool already - but I am really going to try and not return anything this time :) With the amount of times you discuss my returns Angela makes me wonder whether you actually have a secret addiction to returning things and you just want to make me sound the worse ;)

NGlady, firstly I hope I didn't sound offensive about the map LOL I was only having a joke.

Right, I'll shut up about returns now. :) It's only because it sounds so complicated the way you and a few others on here write about it. You know when you talk about getting extra cash for one thing because you bought it a few weeks before a sale.

Ex - we used to see each other every fortnight I think, occasionally more time between hard to remember. He followed a football team and we'd meet up wherever the away matches were, so it could be anywhere in the country. Also had weekends at his parents and my parents when the football wasn't on. I was travelling for 3 years like that.

So I probably had a map with flags on my wall LOL

    Well done NGlady!

I still haven't done my monthly totals, nor did I jot down how much I was paying for meals out, or shops that don't give receipts - completely forgot all about that. :)

Nevermind Angela :) Sure those shops don't count ;)

I am all ready for my jolly to Liverpool tomorrow :) bag packed. I have £45 worth of returns to make... because the items are now too big haha. Taking my big huge handbag, wasn't too sure about it debated a over the shoulder one but I figure on the train back it will be quite difficult to keep hold of my carrier bags as itll be cramped so ill put everything in there that I buy :) Make it easier for nipping to the loos etc.

I am quite excited about my trip - decided tomorrow is my day to have a real good spoil me session as i've over achieved at work this month :)

After tomorrows over though - the real looking after the pennies starts :)

    Hi all

Was out yesterday having a very unusual day to normal - did any of you watch the One show on Monday?

Well the people that train the animals for movies live 2 doors away from one of my friends and she invited more than 30 friends (most of us were from the art and craft club) and she provided lovely food for us all.

The neighbours were showing us the birds (eagles etc) and talking all about them - and how they train them for filming- fascinating stories.

When I got a lift home I didn't fancy going straight back so asked to get dropped off at a village shop and had an impulse buy- £3.50 mag.

I wonder how many stores in Liverpool will be empty by the close of business today? :) (looking forward to the updates)
  • So, how was your day, NG? ;)

Just on my way back from London, where I managed to catch a bit of Rod Stewart and a slap up meal. :)
