CL - well you are an accountant (i think i read that anyway lol) kind of gives you an exception of the sad rule on that one can I ask, as it may make it easier for me to keep track, what cataogies you put them under? I can never define them. can I ask, as it may make it easier for me to keep track, what cataogies you put them under? I can never define them.
I am still very impressed by your April spends I think even if I took all my "needed" expenditure out, so bus fares and bills I still couldn't last on £46 on luxuries for a month. I think we maybe should embark on a challange? I think even if I took all my "needed" expenditure out, so bus fares and bills I still couldn't last on £46 on luxuries for a month. Sorry I never answered your question, just skimmed over the last pg yesterday. My categories are - food, beauty, clothes, one offs (exam fees for example) necessities (ebay p&p, busfares, etc) & misc.0

Shopping today I bought a sports bra (that was on my list so don't feel too bad, plus it was reduced!), and nearly bought some clothes for DS until MIL offered to pay for them! Hi all
I think it will be really nice FE if you and NGlady met up. EVen though you're spending a bit now FE, but you did say the clothes from there are good quality and you have made some money on selling things.
CL I like your categories for your personal expenses. Have you considered a section for impulse buys/fancies?
Katey that was nice of your MIL to pay.
I stayed in all day, weather lousy although sent DS out for a kebab and chips so will pay him back - haven't had some in months and really fancied it. Although have to admit it didn't taste like the previous ones so a bit disappointed.0

I've cashed all my 50 pences if today as its the Next sale tomorrow and its the only way I can justify going and spending quite a bit. I managed to pay in £90 but I'm hoping not to spend that much and if It's not on my list of jacket, work bag and boyfriend jeans I'll hopefully be coming back with £90 - getting up at silly oclock though and no purchases .........I think i can I think i can I think I can2013 - Finally got the house we' ve worked so hard to get......now it's a life of diy and no money....couldn't be happier 😊

            Hi all
Andrea - well done on your savings and be good when you go out shopping.
NGlady - have you got a good padlock on your purse? Have a lovely time in Liverpool and tell us how you got on.
Just after I showered and put on my dressing gown, ready to watch The Mentalist, DS was going to the front door and suddenly asked if I wanted to walk to the cider festival. What a time to be asking. Why he wanted me to go I don't know as he was meeting his mates. Perhaps for me to pay. As it was, it lashed down with rain 15 minutes later.
He also asked if I wanted to go on Saturday, not sure if I will. It's a longish walk down a narrow country lane, no pavement so one of the reasons I didn't want to go this evening as it's pitch dark and he usually take shortcuts through fields.
So not sure what I'll do tomorrow.
Hope you all have a good day.0

A totally successful trip to the Next sale and got everything that I wanted apart from the bag for work. Replaced that with a top which I hadn't planned on buying but I had almost bought it twice in the last couple of weeks at full price so I convinced myself I was allowed it.
Still, came back home with lots of pounds still in my purse so its going back to the bank.2013 - Finally got the house we' ve worked so hard to get......now it's a life of diy and no money....couldn't be happier 😊

            Hey all
Well I have had quite a successful trip shopping today. Went to the next sale, and got to say I was quite impressed by it, would deffinatly go to Meadowhall for the next sale again, really spread out well and there wasn't a crush yet plenty of items still in all the sizes
In Next I brought a lovely Miss N ruffle shirt (Was £45!) down to £15 - Also brought a lovely silk top (was £32) down to £12 and some knee length leggings for under dresss (was £8) down to £2.. Well the Miss N shirt nearly fits and I love it, so I am waiting until almost end of my receipt time to return it - however ... now to confuse you! I brought two sizes of the silk shirt as I wasnt sure on size, however the man at the till scanned the shorts twice instead of two silk tops :O so I am returning the incorrectly sized one and making a £10 profit - so in reality I only spent £21 in next in my defence however I didn't notice this until I was nearly home, and who else actually make a special trip back to give them an extra tenner?
Went into Jane Norman and brought a GORGEOUS stripe blazr (was £38!!) down to £11.25.. I absoloutly love blazers and feel so smart when i've got them on.
Also some lovely flat nude coloured Sandals I nearly brought at full price from Oasis ( was £40!!) down to £20 ... Was going to try and buy these from Liverpool so half the money goes from my Liverpool fund half from this weeks fund.
Took a dress from last Friday back for £25 and brought mums birthday pressie out of it - therefore £0!
Dinner £6 nearly brought a white mocha but £3 nah! - Train £5
 Total spends £63.... £63....
so acceptable! As they was considered buys and I did put LOADS back in Next.Learning to be 'good with money'0

FE- I love Holister too, but haven't bought anything from there yet- just go in and drool! How big is your Amazon list? I bet mine can rival yours....I think it is 18 pages or thereabouts....
Andrea- that is a fab idea-I might borrow it so I can have some guilt free shopping.
NG- what was the meadowhall Next sale like? I am in Sheffield, but try and just do town as Meadowhall is where my debt started....:jCentre Parcs trip'[:j Creme egg cup :jStomp tickets:jVery Valentine book:jKoala :jbiscuits x3:jAll the Fun of the Fair tickets:jMini Cruise to Amsterdam:jRimmel lippy:jLightning Seeds tickets:jRistorante pizza:jSeeds:j3 Benefit Lippy:jrazor:jPuddle puppy:jwii and tennis game:jTrunki washbag:jAmazon voucher:j0
