Yep, house to myself! Which is veryyy strange to me, as the house is so crowded all of the time. I'm not much of a socialiser but I do kind of get lonely (and creeped out) in an empty house, I've always had a lot of family around me, even though most of the time we hate each other. But never mind. I find I'm a lot more productive when I'm on my own, as I don't have any distractions. I have a few little challenges set for myself this summer

But yeah... my shopping, well, I bought another top, more bracelet (they are fast becoming my new obsession
), toiletries and... two pairs of boots. I KNOW I am bad, but I found two pairs I liked in my size which is a miracle. I will return one pair (my first return in agessss!)
Anglea, that friend doesn't sound like much of a friend at all. Very selfish insensitive of her to brush over your issues and bombard you with hers.0 -
Hi all
CL - now anyone else that has happened onto this thread by accident will be suprised by your purchase of 2 pairs of boots in summer
. Not me of course, nor I guess the rest of the members on here.
Can you share your challenges to us?0 -
Hi all,
Hope you're having a good weekend?
it's hot here, but super windy so I haven't been able to go out and do my run.
Anglea, my little challenges are so minor to most people that I feel silly writing them down, but basically I'm aiming to tick them all off a list by the end of the summer. For some reason I'm much more motivated when I'm on my own. I guess I have less to distract me?0 -
Hi to all

I went shopping yesterday and was mighty disappointed in the way I look. I didn't buy anything :O Did reserve a maxi dress at another branch of dorothy perkins to be picked up today but I don't think i'll bother with it. I used to be so glamerous! But now im at that level where I sweat too much so my hair looks terrible etc, and I just dont want to be this way. So going to have to (as much as I don't feel like it tbh!) sort my silly self out. Tried a dress on in Oasis yesterday - really gorgeous one shoulder thing which I know i'd wear lots, if it fit, was so tempted to buy it and risk wasting my money to try and use it as a target but I figured why waste money.Learning to be 'good with money'0 -
Sorry to hear your shopping trip didn't go so well, NG. I get like that sometimes (ok, a lot of the time!!) I don't think there's any point in buying clothes as a weight-loss target to be honest... for me, all it has ever done is serve as a reminder of how big I am :S And most of the time when I do finally lose weight, the clothes are out of season!0
-
Yep CL - thats what kind of made me think not to. As it'd be hung up in my wardrobe i'd forget it doesn't actually fit and decide in my head to wear it to go out sometime, just last minute as I put it on before I go out realize it doesn't actually and be in a right dilema!Learning to be 'good with money'0

Hi all
Perhaps we need to set ourselves a weight challenge on here? I was only thinking that if I was to lose only 2 lbs each month (and keep it off) for x amount of months it would be much better than losing 6 lbs fast which I do easily and it always goes back on (annoying).
Well I'm pleased because my stomach has become much flatter, however the scales say the same
What do you think CL and NGlady? (and anyone else that's interested)0 -
I agree a weight loss challange on here could be good
I know for a fact when I had a regular spend diary on here I used to do much better. Learning to be 'good with money'0 -
Hi all
Just look at this -
2lbs a month until Christmas = 14 lbs gone
None of our current clothes would fit. At least then the shopping would be for a genuine cause.0 -
