    Hi all

I went to a very big garden centre today with a huge crafts and books section but didn't buy anything :T although I was keeping an imaginary list which I was adding to. I kept reminding myself that I have books, magazines, stash to last a lifetime.

FE, have you ever done mystery shopping or things like that?

Yes, I have; mainly for Retail Eyes. Gapbusters were appalling and Bare became unreliable too. :)

Well done Anglea for resisting temptation today! By the way, you should dig out that bag you bought and use it :p

FE: I love comping... I won an absolute fortune in 2007-2008, it was better than having a job! I really should get back into it, it's just so time consuming :o I'm sure you will find a way to manage though. When is the Primark interview, or have you had it already? (apologies if I missed that post).

NG: I hope you stick to your word re: no buying! Enjoy your day anyway. Ohh, and I'm glad to see that you weren't put off posting :) I like to hear about your scheming lol (I'm talking about the glitches btw).

CL, I won over £6000 of stuff last year but have had not had enough time to really do it so far this year so haven't won anything. I shall soon get back into the swing of it.

The Primark interview was yesterday and I really don't think I've got the job although I did say I would be interested in working as a sales assistant if I was to not get the job...they said there are not any sales jobs...

CL, it was my third ever interview; one was for the Hilton hotel and I just walked out as it was ridiculous, and the other was for university (and I got in). The way the sales assistants were towards me in the lift lobby area, I don't think they'd warm to me and the lady who interviewed me was really lovely but she wrote and circled a number 3 on one of the questions she was asking me; I know they often grade these things; out of 5, 3 is mediocre and out of 10 it's rubbish.

So I am still looking elsewhere but most of the jobs I can see are management; I don't want and cannot do more than supervisor as I'll be doing a full time degree and don't have time for the extra paperwork and meetings etc...

FE - sometimes they scale it the other way. In my interview, 5 was fantastic down to 1 which was the complete opposite. So don't loose hope on that. But if you don't get it, then it is sad and youll feel like crap for a few hours, but everything happens for a reason, like if U remember me getting rejected from asda then week later getting my current job? Yeah I know doesnt help really!

CL - I love next purfume. Using tropical at the moment, which one do you favour?

Thanks NG. Makes me so annoyed when the staff are crap at places because they have a job I could do SO much better than them!!

FE, I know the feeling about interviews. I've never had an interview... in my life. The mere thought of one sends me into a frenzy. About the Primark job, I do hope something better comes along if you don't get it. Just wondering if you've ever looking into matched betting..? Easy-ish way to make £1-2k a year, not an amazing amount but it all helps.

NG: I bought 'Diamonds', nice enough for the price. I really want Paco Rabanne black xs though... :S

FE - Oh I know that feeling. I remember going into asda shortly after getting rejected and being so angry at the state of customer service in their compaired to what I could do lol Ended up shamefully being very rude to the lady at the checkout as I was so angry and upset with the shop and just wanted to get out of there quickly.

What doesnt break us in life does make us stronger people. It doesnt feel like it at the time, but so long as your ineigent enough to remember the bad times as you move forward into the good times, then it will make you a moe understanding person which in turn will make u a much better person :) thats what Im telling myself anywy

CL - never smelt that one, may have to investigate :)

Well I have been shopping with the mothering unit - I brought my train fair and a nandos :D then I stupidly ended up in Dorothy perkins spending £29 next £12 and new look £8. Now this is stuff I genuinely do need, part of the dorothy perkins money was on another work shirt. But I checked my bank balance and after eveything comes out it going to be quite touh until the end of the month. Considering I only have next weekend to actually wear anything that I have brought im not sure its worth it, so im going to return everything I brought bar the shirt tomorow and then buy everything back on payday if I still love it, as by then ill actually b able to afford it!

Also returned some of the stuff to bodyshop. I had to accept the buy one get one free promotion, but they did it that I got the chepest item free rather than most expensive, so i got like £25 worth of stuff for £12 which isnt bad :)

So yep tomorow I shall unshop and hopefully be vey well behaved next weekend :)

Put another £1 in my london tin. Cant really afford to be saving money at the moment but I figure I won't miss bits of change and the odd £1 coin :) and by the the London comes round end of June ill have a nice little nest egg to set myself up for my summer clothes :) YAY. any money left by 27th I shall draw out and put into my london tin :) And hopefully shall save bits of money from my "spending allowance" next month to contribute :) that way wont all be coming out of my end of June pay:)
