Maybe he got bored of being towed round the shops on every date whilst you pointed at thing you liked in the hope he'd buy them for you.
Maybe the distance wasnt a problem until he realised that no matter who did the journey, he'd be paying the fare.
Maybe he didn't like discovering your dishonesty as he watched you return for full price things you had bought for less.
Maybe he sensed that you felt you were out of his league and didn't want to spend the rest of his life with a girl who secretly thought 'I'm too good for you'.
I'm sorry but the more I read on this thread of people taking advantage of other's good nature, or 'glitches' - particulaly when the 'glitch' rips off a VERY ethical company, one of the few who pay it's suppliers a decent wage in the first place... or getting on the bus half-price when they're plainly an adult... the more I think this is not the place for me.
I have a spending problem and a gambling problem but I would be ashamed to behave in some of the ways that I read about in this thread, and those of you who behave this way do so most insousciantly.
This will be my last post here and I wish you all the best for the future. No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!
Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target

Oh dear NGlady. Hope you're okay. Can't bear men with 'issues' like that. No one goes through life without some carp happening to them but you just have to get on with it!!! I have stopped internet dating for now purely because I was meeting guys who I wouldn't look at if I saw them out!!! Not being stuck up but they just hadn't made an effort to look smart and i wont leave the house of I don't feel good so no point. Will go back to it in the future but I have a few on the go now anyway so no need to find any more for now. It's either a great thing or a real failing but I just can't be bothered making the effort when a guy is never going to be my reason for living anyway!!!! Unlike you girls I love a night out on the pull and one night stands can be fun and very ego boosting, but only if you aren't going to get all attached and silly about it. The only reason I don't go clubbing much is because I can't afford it at the mo but....I am off this week and out on a big night out tonight. Going to a gay night but you never know XXXX
NGlady are you looking at Brad in a different light now?! In my experience (and I know this is a bit near then knuckle for some but only saying what I've seen) when a really attractive woman goes out with a less attractive man, instaed of being really grateful and boosting her ego constantly with compliments, it seems that they try to knock the woman down so that they feel better. My boss is beautiful and her man is very insecure and constantly has a go. My mate has just been dumped by a very average guy who never poaid her compliments and has a big tip for himself. I don't get it but dealing with someone else's insecurities must be exhausting. I'd rather see friends and have a laugh myself!'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -

I just want to add that not all of the so called glitches are ripping companies off. Sometimes they are just really good offers companies use to get rid of old or excess stock. I'm thinking of last weeks Boots Soap+Glory and Sanctuary gift sets which were 75% off because they were being discontinued. I do admit to buying these items guilt free.
I don't order the body shop glitches, I don't even know if they deliver to Ireland but because they are online orders I guesse the company could easily cancel any orders it felt were unethical.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
Tyzer,
I have to wonder why you just didn't stop using this thread instead of slating everyone publically that is doing something you don't approve of.
No one on earth is perfect so there is no need to make ourselves feel better by criticising others.0 -

I agree with you Anglea.
Pressing on with the listing of things on eBid at the moment...such a laborious, time consuming process!! _pale_0 -
Hi All
Hope you are all well.
Well i managed to have a no spend day yesterday which i am proud of. I had to go into town after work i went to the one shop i needed to go and pick my order up from (which was already paid for) then got the bus home (i got a free bus pass). Just need a few more days like that the only problem is i have found a really nice pair of boots that i really want to buy but i shouldnt :S0 -
Been bad today:
£3.50 Easy Living magazine for the free Cath Kidston bag
£2.00 a Glade room freshener
£1.00 a packet of biscuits
Oops!!
I also paid my rent (£235) and got 2 days of travel passes: £4.600 -
CL, I got the more traditional one.
Am considering this: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5295731.htm#tabrev as I have £25odd on a giftcard to put towards it and don't have any TV at the moment.0 -
Tyzer, just a few little POINTS for you
A: He was not towed around the shops - he wanted to, as he enjoyed it too, we also did other things. And I have my own money thankyou if there was anything I wanted, I am MORE than able to buy it myself.
Secondly
He paid my train fair ONCE - I paid it every other time.
I really dislike people who asume things!!!!!!!!Learning to be 'good with money'0 -

I have a couple of things made from the same CK fabric (the old fashioned floral one)Flickering_Ember wrote: »CL, I got the more traditional one.

£199 seems a good price for a 22" tv. I couldn't live without my tv... I'd like a bigger one though at some point (I won the one I'm using at the moment).
I have 2 things ending on ebay tonight, both have bids so I'm pleased. Should make around £8 after fees, etc. Also manage to make about £16 from some matched bets. Good day all around, I think!0
