Well, at least this happened early on rather than later, when you've invested too much time, money and feelings.

CL, I am really not into dating at all and in fact try and avoid it. The behaviour of people out on the p!ss and on the pull in Liverpool has to be seen to be believed...and after you've seen it you need a stiff drink and a lie down!!

Well, at least you've got the handbag. He didn't ask for that back I hope.

Again, it seems very strange that he ended it because he really did seem like Prince Charming.

I can imagine. Our town and the city near me is the same... my brother often goes clubbing but I'd rather eat my own eyes than put myself through it. I know it sounds awful - don't get me wrong, I don't think I'm better than anyone else - but I just couldn't deal with the drunken, leeriness of some people. Plus one-night stands don't appeal to me.

Each to their own, I guess. If I ever meet anyone it'll no doubt be somewhere like a supermarket, as that's the only place I ever seem to go! :o

I know...I am in a very quiet area of the Halls I'll be in next year; only 2 flats on my whole floor at opposite ends of the corridor, without any groups moving in, and only mature students.

    My thoughts exactly.
:o:rotfl:I shouldn't laugh, but Anglea... we can always rely on you to be the practical one at times like these..!

To be fair, was thinking the same myself....
