Besides, I genuinely want to not spend money and save it towards other uses and the future, such as leaving town, such as buying a flat, such as learning to drive, seeing the world and doing a masters' degree. I so hope I get this job though!!
Good luck for the job FE.:D0 -

I know how easy it is when you have got money in your paypal account just to end up bidding on lots of items on ebay and before you know it you've got nothing left. How about, £2 per £10 you raise you treat yourself with? I know I keep going on about spending money, and treating yourself nd ive never really had any big debts to pay back, but im always of the logic too much saving and life feels very boring

Ive never seen any cashmere in primark? Is it any good?

Yeah, it's only £20-£30 and nice and soft. I've had some of their jumpers for a few years now. I love them.littlekitty2010 wrote: »:(I dont think primark staff get any discount as they say its already a discounted store:( i could be wrong though
No, you're right, they don't offer a staff discount but I don't really care about that; I mean the boxers I buy are £1.70 a pair and PJ bottoms are only £4 so it's great value for money anyway, besides which I have other things to spend my money on.littlekitty2010 wrote: »Good luck for the job FE.:D

Do you know the way they interview? how many stages are there etc?
I remember when the big primark opened in my town they did a massive day for interviews, where everybody went and I think I had a few minutes with an interviewer and they told the people who was successful and didnt say anything to the ones who wasnt (I.e me!) Learning to be 'good with money'0 -

Well, they're only looking for supervisors; I don't know how many jobs there are, nor how many people have been selected for interview, and I also don't know if it's groups or one on one...time will tell.0 -
Evening,
Good luck with the interview, FE, I really hope you get the job. It sounds perfect for you.
I have spent the weekend clearing out... I have almost filled a charity sack full and also two bags of rubbish
I think there comes a point where the clutter gets so bad that you have to get rid of some of it, even though I had good intentions to sell it
Saying that, most of it would probably take ages to list/sell and only fetch me pennies (literally). Just no point really, I'd rather be clutter-free and stay sane.
Anyway!! Did I mention I saw a lovelyyy coat in Debenhams the other day? I was in with my mum (honestly, she had to drag me in
), she was trying on bikinis and I spied it. BUT they only had a size 10
It was £32.50 in the sale... sold out on the website... but tomorrow I'm going to call around different branches and see if any have it in stock as I really like it. And I need a coat desperately, mine's now so badly stained, worn & holey that I can't even wear it
So yeah, I really hope I can track one down. 0 -
FE you are right they are great prices to begin with
I do hope you get the job:) a friend of mine works as a supervisor for primark she seems to enjoy it. 0 -

This week is going to be super busy...got an entire A4 sheet with tasks listed...hoping to squeeze in 2-3 NSDs, although I do have to go out and about a few days, so who knows. Then again, I also hope to sell some more stuff so it may just about balance it out....0
