that is a great idea bout the £2 for every £10 raised. My total is now £83.20 i think im on a roll tonight. Lots of items to post tomorrow:D Though i hate standing in the queue in our post office its always packed and soooo slow:mad:
I sell a lot on ebay and hate the PO too, so now I use the Paypal print your own postage thing and just drop them in the postbox. You can print a cert of posting as well but then you'd have to wait in the queue to get it stamped, so i only use those for items that have sold for over £25.
I havent had any problems so far, and it's saved me hours in the queue! No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!
Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target

Hi all,
Today's going to be a MSD: Had to spend 85p on the bus home (I can get away with child fare) and will have to post something later so will be paying postage, but other than this, nothing will be spent.
Just listed even more books on Greenmetropolis and it's ridiculous as many are brand new and unread...what a waste of space and money!!0 -
Hi All
I am new to this thread hoping you dont mind me writing. But i am in need of some motivation and while browsing the site i came accross this thread. I have paid up all my debts at the start of this month which i am really happy about. But now i need to save some money so am hoping that i can spend the next year saving. I havent been to bad this month and have really only brought things that i need. Apart from a cook book but it was second hand so got it half the price
i also brought a new camara but i saved the money up for that by taking my own lunchs to work and not taking any money to go to the vending machine. The other thing i have done this month is get a new phone contract and have cut the cost of my phone bill by half. So really i just need to stop buying bits and bobs that i dont need when walking in the shops.

Hi everyone
Well my saving went ok yesterday i got £20 out of the bank but only spent £5.60 so i am happy about that. Today i am going to try and have a no spend day but i need to go to town after work to collect an order that i placed online (already paid for) so will need to resist going to the other shops. :S wish me luck i have cash on me so it is going to be hard going i seem to buy stuff i dont really need when i got cash on me

Hi all - have a good day everyone
Quick post as about to go out - RATTLESNAKE - I hope you can stick to your plan for today and avoid any excess shopping.0 -
Well, today I went to the post office again, and bought a cheeseburger and onion rings from McDonalds on the way home, other than that, no spends to report.
Sold another book which I'll be sending tomorrow.
Currently listing things to sell on eBid: I have about 200 more things to add so am being kept very busy. Starting all my auctions from 1p just to get rid of them all, or at least as many as possible. The link is http://uk.ebid.net/perl/normal.cgi?user=762475&mo=their-all-about if anyone's interested in seeing what there is on offer...it'll be added to all week as there's 5 crates of stuff remaining!!0 -
I have never used ebid before is it better than ebay?0
-
I don't know, to be honest. I signed up nearly a year ago but this is my first lot of listings. eBay was rubbish though.0

I've never tried ebid either... tend to stick to ebay, but only list more expensive items when it's a free listing day. Speaking of which, I have a couple of bids on the few items that I listed over the weekend (£3 & £2) ans also someone asking if I'll sell a pair of shoes for a 'buy it now' price

Sounds like you are doing well on ebay. I am running out of things to sell had a pair of trousers to put on there which were to small but i haven’t been well and lost loads of weight they now fit
which means i don’t have to buy any new ones. The only things i can think of to put on there is 2 wii games and a bracelet. Think i will have a sort out this weekend and see if i can find anything else to sell. 0
